although I agree with the strategy ($85 for some conference games might be steep) I thought people complained about FSU and Miami jacking up the prices when they played the gators. Isn't this essentially doing the same thing?

Other SEC schools do this already. We're just a little late to the party.

$85 for a single game ticket. So much for hunting for tickets for those games. Guess I'll be watching those on the 50".

Well, selling the crap games for $25 is a start...but should be more like $10, a visit to the locker room after the game, sideline passes during the game, a free Coke and Papa Johns pizza, and a photo op w/ Albert, Jeremy Foley, and Mr. Two Bits!

I like it, it makes sense. All games are not equal, so it makes sense to price them with that in mind, in my humble opinion.

    Go GATORS!

Funny you mention watching on the 50". ESPN column discussing some of the reasons for student attendance decline across the country. http://espn.go.com/college-football...-concern-students-show-college-football-games

Seems to be the trend the last few years. The Rays do it in Baseball. ;)

After going 4-8, it's probably cheaper to attend away games as other teams dump us into that $25 slot. :(

What were the single game ticket prices before? $25 doesn't seem like much of a discount for the crappy games.

The way this economy is going, I'm not sure how much longer they can expect fans to pay the higher prices when you figure travel, food, ect. Maybe the dems can grant me a subsidy, I mean watching uf in person should be a right.

Again with hdtv and the comfort of home along with economy I'm not sure this is the answer for filling the stadium.

$50 was face value for all games. They had some $30 promos last year that included a drink and hotdog.

    So let's see. Last year $50*7= $350.

    $25*3+$50*2+$85*2=$345.

    Big drop in prices!!!

They actually make more with LSU and USCe sellouts!!

In 2015, FSU will be the $85 game. Then, possibly the SEC West team or Tennessee is a $85 game? My guess unless Alabama or Auburn comes to town, Tennessee and the West team will be something like $70 each. Either way, they will figure out how to get the single game ticket prices for the season at $350.
