and provided we stay healthy, this is how I could see things playing out-

    Idaho-W-no contest
E Michigan-W-we have too many athletes for them
Kentucky-W-it will be closer than previous years
Bama-L-at Tuscaloosa may be too high a mountain
    UT-W-we continue to dominate
LSU-W-we will be ready at home
    Mo-W-Homecoming and revenge
Ga-W-we will control the ball, the clock and field position
    Vandy-W-Commodores luck runs out
So Carolina-W-we will score more than Gator fans think in the Swamp
E.Ky-W- we letdown a little but we win
FSU-W-Our defense will stop them and the Seminoles defense won't stop us
SEC-W-we beat Bama in a rematch
    Playoffs-?

I like it. I hope it happens. I thought about the same thing last year this time coming off a big season. I think the talent we have and the coaching (offensively now) fits the players better than any before. But I just don't know. It looks good on paper. There are just too many people saying 8-4, 9-3.... I am a firm wearer of O&B glasses, but even I dont think the season will turn out that well

Fortune turned its back on the Gators last season, I think this year it smiles on us.

Everything rides on our offense this year.
    If it's a success, we'll be a turnaround story.

There is not a single team on our schedule that doesn't have significant questions to answer heading into the season, Alabama and LSU included. Talent wise we are as strong as we've been since the 2008 title team and we are in the top 5 of the conference in terms of talent. There are a lot of "ifs" involved but this team has a great chance to win the East and get to Atlanta.

I'm not ready to predict this... but how can you not LIKE it?!

Like Tuscaloosa, 11v18 in Tally is going to be a high mountain too.

It is my best case scenario, but it's doable.

May seem out of place looking at recent history but the UT game makes me nervous for several reasons...not as black and white as it may appear. Fork in the road game Imo.

I like it BUT cannot agree. With our schedule, I don't think it's talent or coaching my worry is DEPTH. Straight up, we could beat any of these teams. Lose a few linemen and…

The same is true concerning injuries for any team on our schedule. There would be a drop off in performance for them too.

Very true BUT several teams are much deeper on the line.

I think we're going to be a lot better on offense than most realize, but it's usually Year #2 of a new system when it really takes off and dominates.

Totally Agree! And with a lot of teams with new QBs, we could get lucky. (For Once)

As soon as I saw "L" by Bama I knew "beat Bama in rematch" was coming.

@UT will be a nice follow-up psyche test for UF. I do think its a must win if we lose to Bama. If we beat Bama then I simply won't be worried.

No one ever has a clue who will win with LSU/UF. If our offense is average then we'll win. Obviously the Bama game will be the indicator.

No way does UGA get by UF this year. I'm actually more concerned with South Carolina even though its home.

I do think we beat FreeShoes IF: our offense/kicker scores at least 30.

I'm for it. UT does not scare me in the least. They are basically starting new players across both fronts and only God knows who there QB will be. Fowler has continued the trend of linemen that perform out of their mind against that team too. LSU has a load of questions, especially at QB. I know they always have solid RBs, but I think we beat them by a respectable margin. UGA goes down, and SCAR just doesn't seem too threatening to me either. Mizzou has a heck of a QB, but we will see how they do in the Swamp and without some key players. It is wide open, and UF has the most going for them IMO.

I guess I'm less optimistic. I see it as Fortune smiled on UF in 2012, and turned it's back in 2013. But, I hope you are correct.

That is not true that several teams are thin at depth like us...remember Mauck came in for Mizzou and played lights out why we have no proven back up. Bama, Georgia, LSU, and FSU have more depth in the lines than we have. Even MSU might have more depth than us on the lines. We would have to go through an injury free season to have that kind of record and that is just not going to happen. Then if Fowler, Hargreaves, or a linebacker gets hurt you again have major issues on D. This team is constantly on probation with the numbers we have each year.

I have more confidence in our new coaches than to think our back ups will not present themselves well!

I hope you are right. I also hope people on the forum do not going around eating babies and kicking puppies if you are wrong.
