Why don't we ALL learn from this. Just because at one time he was OUR Urban should not have resulted in a total denial of what he was. I guess as I have grown older I have found the necessity of really being emotionally invested in the people and teams I root for. I really never liked him when he was at Florida and I always resented the sleaziness. I still pulled for them, as a graduate who had a great 4 years there it would have been difficult to do anything else, however, the next time we have a sleeze ball--if we do ever have a sleeze ball--it will be more difficult. There appear to be a lot of highly successful coaches that are also good people. The University of Florida always deserves that kind of a person. Muschamp appears to be a good man and I'm more willing to cut him some slack than I would have Kiffin or Orgeron. Is that a crazy concept?

If that's Shelly standing, there is someone else in the cart with him.

You will change your tune about that once he leaves on his own or gets fired.

If he's all about himself, Janoris, Deante, etc. would not have been kicked off the team. Sorry, but Will is a guy with integrity and wants to win with good kids. He said something to the effect of "if you're a bad kid, you should go play elsewhere, and we'll beat you"

"Have you seen all of these coaches after loses? You see how Saban Muschamp SOS look and act after loses? They are all build like this. They either sulk or throw hissy fits"

GatorAz, the picture I have in mind is Army/Navy with the players standing for each other's alma mater. One group exultant, the other frequently with tears streaming. True, they don't show the coaches on TV, but I would be very surprised if either institution would tolerate the coach's failure to stand with his team.

Maybe those coaches are not "big time" enough to sulk and throw hissy fits; then maybe the "big time" coaches need to be schooled in how to behave; win or lose.

    GO NAVY!!

He's very tightly-wound. I've noticed that Saban is much more relaxed on camera.

Not a crazy concept at all. I tend to agree with you.

Or you can look at it as he believes that the program was stronger by getting rid of kids who would not follow the rules.

What the hell is wrong with some of you people? Just because a man sits alone in a golf cart eating pizza all of a sudden he has serious issues. Honestly, that's how I looked after every Florida loss this year. Alone in my leaving room frustrated and eating pizza. While my wife try's to convince me that it's just sports.

Reports last night iD'd the people in the pic as "family". If true, its hard to find any fault in the picture.

I hate how he left. It was wrong...but this photo may actually be proof that he has changed.

I don't want to be considered an "idiot" but I thought it was quite telling how he stared at the stat sheet throughout the post game press conference. He could have read "Crime and Punishment" in the time it took him to peruse the numbers. I can't remember the name of the Florida player who utilized the credit cards of his friend's girl friend who had both been killed in a vehicular incident. That has always really bothered me. If someone can say definitively that player was IMMEDIATELY kicked off the team and that there was not an "evaluation" period, I will come on here and admit my regret for having believed his behavior to be really abhorrent.

Trying to figure this post out...

What does how Urbs handled last night have to do with Jamar Hornsby using a dead girls credit card in 2008? And yes, he was kicked off the team immediately.

Well apparently Braxton Miller is going pro (at least based on the Ohio State sites). That probably puts him a couple of years away still. Should be interesting to see how he reacts.

The Guyton kid is still good. OSU is actually gonna be a really good team next year. They played a lot of youngsters on defense and with Meyer's recruiting, they're only going to get better.

Don't let facts get in the way of people's hate. Somehow Meyer is evil because he is upset his team just lost a chance at an NC, but Mr. punch walls and blame the fans is a good man. lol

What's assuming is that Meyer's 24-1 in the past 2 seasons, which was built on weak big 10 competition, will result in 0 big 12 titles and 0 national titles.
