UF loses, would have to research, but probably the earliest SEC tourney exit in the program's history. Not totally unexpected, and won't impact the NCAA picture much, but very disappointing how it played out.

Tough loss for the girls. I assume this will hurt their NCAA seeding, but the rankings are so messed up that's it pretty much just luck of the draw once you get to the round of 16 anyways (see last year's NCAA champ #12 seed Stanford).

Men's team very happy to be playing Vandy this afternoon. Yesterday, the Vandy home crowd support was outstanding, when they played Georgia. It was standing room only around the courts. I am sure it will be the same this afternoon. The match up is very even and could go either way. Maxx Lipman relishes the opportunity to play his brother's team once again. Guys will have to step up and battle, but this team has done so in big moments this season.

Good luck coach.....would be nice to see the Lipman brothers reverse roles from that regular season match.

I was right, first time in history of the tourney UF didn't reach the semis.
Coach T said that UF only won one set that went beyond 4-0 in singles. In other words, anything contested they lost.

Gators lost the first sets at 1&2, won at 3,5,6 and lead 5-2 at 4. It looks like Vandy's usual #4 guy is not playing so that should help us lower in the lineup.

Great job by the men this weekend.....locked in a hosting slot and starting to win some of those tight matches they have lost in the past

Guys are very focused. They are not satisfied with getting to the SEC tournament finals. Really feel that they can beat Texas A&M. What I know is these guys will fight for it this afternoon in Nashville.

How about the turnaround from Lipman (the UF version) from losing the heartbreaker vs Vandy. Young guys stepping up

TAMU looks to take the doubles point, up a break at 1 and 3, UF up 5-4 on 2. Not a surprise, TAMU very solid in doubles
The regular season match was incredibly close in doubles although UF lost....don't seem to be playing them as close this time. UF did have Piro and Newman in the lineup at that time.

Gonna have to win this with the lower ladder singles matches. Almost pulled it off last time

And of course the exact opposite occurs early in singles, UF up on courts 1-3 and down on 4-6. All matches very tight except 2 where Watson is cruising in his first set. A bit surprising, he has been a little off last couple of weeks

Wow- the men are really looking strong. Hidalgo rallies to win the 1st at #4 and Alford back to 5-5 at #6.

    Diep 6-3 3-2
    Watson 6-1 1-5
    Lipman 6-3 5-2 great showing
    Hidalgo 6-4 0-3
    Orkin 4-6 5-3
    Alford 6-6
Alford match could easily be the decider

A&M seems to have wrestled the momentum...dominating 2nd sets at 2 &4, back to 5-5 in the 2nd at 5, and won the 1st set TB at 6.

Orkin lost at #5, Diep managed a huge win at #1...one of the best of his career probably.

But, A&M are up 2-1 and now dominating in the 3rd set at 2 & 4, and also fought back into a 2nd set TB at #3. Not looking good at all overall.
