Not one SEC team made it to 16. UF, UK, LSU and Missouri all lost in the 2nd round. Tex, Neb, USC, Wash, Wisc, Purdue, Penn and Stanford made it to 8. Another year, its the same....... old song.

I've been watching the Elite 8 matches tonight. One stark difference between most of these teams and those in the SEC. They are BIG and athletic. Florida, etc just have never had the kind of size necessary to win it all. We are finally getting 1 big player next year. But, one still is not enough.

Also doesn't help the SEC when the POY one year transfers to Nebraska and becomes the Big 10 POY.

Overall, junior volleyball in the south is still light years behind what it is in the mid and far west.
