Jesse is the Tim Mccarver of college football.
I'd love to see Todd Balckledge as color.
I agree that Jesse needs to calm down quite a bit and either lose some weight or please buy larger suit coats. Also, stop with the thin ties. They don't help the look either. I would have thought that being the visible young star that he has been slotted as, someone (maybe his agent) would mention the choice of clothing.
I have loathed Musberger for so very long, especially when he used to slobber all over Bobby Bowden. I will, however, take a deep breath and exclaim, to the high heavens, my absolute glee that Tim Brando's name has not been mentioned. I was really worriied about that. He is totally unacceptable for any SEC Sporting event broadcast.
Thanks to the SEC for not ruining the start of a great network.
Is the SEC Network high? Smoke to relax, do not smoke yourself retarded! God, Musberger! I would rather walk into oncoming traffic then hear his captain obvious assumptions!
Musberger: "I believe the team, who scores the most points, and in the end has more points than the other team, will in return in the end, be the victor of this game."
Yes Brent.... We kkknnnooowwww......
OK…..even I know that's sarcasm! I'm so glad to get rid of those two bozo's that Musberger sounds like manna from heaven. I like Palmer but he does tend to "over-do it"…..
Verne and Gary aren't gone, thankfully.
Verne has that distinguished radio voice.... it can't be replaced
He does have a great radio voice, and it sounds like he really loves the game - he's not just making up artificial catch phrase to fake excitement. While he goofs up a good bit, he's like that friendly, happy drunk uncle that everybody loves. GD is a perfect match for him... really on top of the game as an analyst and does a nice job covering for Verne's goof ups.
this is all subjective but i just don't understand the gary and verne hate. as stated by oaktown at the very least their enthusiasm is genuine and not forced like musbergers
Musberger announcing football is like listening to nails on a chalk board. Good grief, I personally thought that no one could enjoy listening to this arse clown....... Well.... I stand corrected. Verne and Gary were enjoyable for me to listen to, I'll miss them.
Arrange for five hot young female Gator fans to go to the Alabama game with B-R-E-N-T spelled across their bare midriffs. The rest will take care of itself.
We'll still have Verne and Gary on CBS as far as I know, so many of the big games we'll get them.
I'm with you on Musberger, though. Can't imagine SEC fans embracing him. The namesake network for the SEC is going to have the worst announcers week in and week out.
Think he'll drool himself out of a job?!
First the good news! We are getting a great Gator, Jesse Palmer on the SEC Network!
Now the bad news. We are getting a huge Big 10, PAC 12 fan, the droopy eyed ever boring Brent Musburger. I wonder how many times in our games he will call us the Florida State Gators as he has in the past. Why on earth didn't ESPN put Pollack on there with Jesse?! Surely, with their recent times with these 2 new guys on ESPN, the Network would be smart enough to select these 2 young guys to do the new SEC Network. They were awesome together! But obviously not!
I think Jesse does a great job
Agree with Pollack... they've worked together a lot in the past, and he's really good... in spite of his "pedigree".
They've been reasonably good as partners, but Palmer just tries too hard, IMO. He needs to relax. Buy some clothes that don't require him to wear a corset. Take a deep breath and let it come to him, rather than pushing the conversation so hard.
Yeah, I know. Pollack's pedigree.
But hey! Nobody's perfect! We're all human! We all have faults!
Oak, have you seen these pics after your comments about Jessie Palmer?
I think Jessie & Timmy share the same tailor.
There's Tebow pictured in Jacksonville at his charity golf tournament with Duck Dynasty crew.
Yet more proof that the resume is dead in America. Musberger was past his prime 30 years ago.
They won't be a problem for us unless we are a bad football team again. If we are on top in the east and one of or the best in the SEC we will always be on CBS or ESPN
