I need to take a look then. I like allen-Williams tape bcuz he looked like he could play inside or outside. But his measurable didn't seem accurate. I read 6'2", but he could be 5'11

Miller looks like a natural pass-rusher. He's gonna be a Buck in this system right? How many are we planning to take there?

Miller is a SAM as of right now . Trent Harris will be a BUCK and then we will take 1 or 2 more at the BUCK. It seems as though are staff doesn't put concrete numbers on each position they just want good football players in the front 7 and then they will figure it out which is the right way to do it.

Ah ok. Makes sense, the staff always stresses "cross-training" @ multiple positions. I like trent harris on film also

Not sure I like that approach as they did that with Floyd the #1 DT in the draft this year and had him playing DE until they finally put him back to DT where he played great. It feels like they lost a year of having one of the best DT's in the country playing out of position at DE.

If I remember correctly they did that because Floyd was hurt and they needed to rep Easley inside and they didnt want to change once Floyd got back.

Floyd really changed his body last offseason which is the reason he will go so high in this years draft.

Actually a lot of it was Easley was unable to maintain his gaps appropriately, and he couldn't be trusted on the outside, so they slid him inside and put the more gap conscious Floyd on the outside

While I agree Ealsey has always had trouble being gap sound I could have sworn Floyd got hurt and that was the reason given for Easley playing inside and Floyd playing outside

Yeah, because Floyd really blew it here at UF on the field!

Floyd was a monster for us all over the field; one of the things that NFL Draft Analysts seem to be buzzing about on him is his versatility. I don't think he's going to suffer at all from it and it's not like our D has been sub-par for a while now...

I didn't say that Floyd didn't play well but he was definitely out of position playing his sophmore year at DE and our dline was nowhere near as good as it was last year in his correct position at DT. I'm fairly sure they put him at DE in hopes we could generate some kind of pass rush from the outside...not because he was hurt. I was just making a point that he was the number one DT in recruiting coming out of high school and we had him playing out of position for too long and he probably wasn't as productive as he would have been had they let him play DT the whole time he was here.

Hamilton four-star linebacker from Carver High School commits to Alabama.

There was a time I thought we might have a chance at him because Bama had not offered because they did not like his height.

Also lols at the Vols fans for thinking they had a chance today

Considering we were one of the three he was deciding between and UF wasn't, lol at UF thinking they had a chance ever.
