The wanton hubris of the ruling class.... the answer... more government.... brilliant...

    http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/362166/sebelius-i-dont-work-people-who-want-me-resign-nro-staff

“My goal is to actually get the website up and running,” she told reporters. “The majority of people calling for me to resign I would say are people who I don’t work for and who do not want this program to work in the first place. I have had frequent conversations with the president and I have committed to him that my role is to get the program up and running and we will do just that.”

A group of 33 House Republicans on Wednesday sent a letter to President Obama calling for her resignation. ”The scope of the problem is so great that, were this a private company or military command, the CEO or general would have been fired,” they wrote. “We are, therefore, calling on you to hold Secretary Sebelius accountable for the fiasco that is HealthCare.gov and ask for her resignation.”

Whether anyone thinks she should or shouldn't resign, she did make it very clear that she considered the 300+ million subordinate to her and her boss, not the other way around.

Is it disturbing to anyone else that only 33 representatives think she should resign?

Well yes SHE DOES work of people who want her fired. I don't understand liberals who are not disturbed by the dictator attitude in display by this administration.

Feel fortunate that you can't understand how they think. It means you aren't mentally deficient and afflicted with their disease. Which is most certainly proven to be now--a true mental disorder.

    I'm on my phone. Typos.

Yes I think liberalism is some mental disorder. Their thinking is not rational. Adults who want socialism know it always fail but somehow believe it won't this time around. It is based on faith. Young people are just ignorant and at the mercy of their emotions.

I can sorta sympathize with her but it was very very very inartfully stated and she should clarify and apologize.

And this is precisely the problem with liberals. They think they are the boss.

If every public official resigned because some in the other party called for it ... we'd have an awful lot of churn, don't you think?

Agreed, but that doesn't mean there aren't cases where it is warranted. Congressional hearings are under way on what is a major botch of arguably the biggest piece of legislation in US history.

And that means what. A public official appointed by a Democratic president should resign because some Republicans want her to? Is that how this govt is supposed to work? If a couple of dozen Democrats call for Scalia to step down, does he have to do it, because he works for us?

No one is arguing that. When one of your employees (in the theoretical sense here) tell you they don't work for you, what do you think the outcome is going to be?

The smart thing would be to say " I work at the pleasure of the President and we both have to answer to the American people. I am going to do everything in my power to fix this and if I can't, the President won't have to ask for my resignation, it will be tendered without hesitation."

    Bam.

But no. This scumbag has to be a bitch and say "I don't work for you", which may technically be correct, but Congress has the power to remove the President and by extension, you.

She sucks! That and the cost of her ineptness, that will total 1+ billion dollars, are good enough reason for me. She needs to go yesterday.

It means you don't spout off in front of the cameras saying you don't serve the ones who don't like you. You serve EVERYONE!

Sorry rick, but that bolded part is moot. She is liberal--therefore accountability for competence and performance means nothing.

Ineptness and pathetic performance means nothing when you are affiliated with the sack in the WH and his regime.
