I'm not sure what can make a concrete slab look "suspicious." Did it have shifty eyes or something?

My guess would be that the ones who shot Hoffa and made the concrete grave for him made the mistake of putting their initials in the concrete....... :)

Because Al Capone's vault was such a big payoff. I see a two hour TV special dedicated to this mysterious concrete slab.

a subterranean concrete slab out in the middle of a never before developed field for no good reason would probably qualify it as suspicious

Maybe it was over grown concrete shoes and they couldn't send him swimming with the fishes, so they buried him right there.

Ha! Played golf with Geraldo Rivera years ago (20) (his mother lived in Sarasota). Got drunk on the course and he joking said "careful or I'll expose you!"

I responded "You won't find any more on me than you did in Capone's vault!"

He laughed but you could tell it "zinged" him.

The country's economy is a mess, we have a NSA scandal, we're all being monitored at all times, people are giving up on finding work...

But by God, let's find Hoffa's resting place. What are they going to do when they find it?

"Oh, look - It's Hoffa! We found him!"

"Good, now let's bury him in Jersey. Did you bring some Cannoli?"
    "Yeah."
"Good. Bury the body, bring the Cannoli."
