I know it's sold out but dropping $125 for nosebleeds on Stub Hub seems a bit high.

Anyone familiar with scalping scene at the stadium? Is there a section they all hangout?

On the south side of the stadium, there is a cross walk from parking lot across the street. there a few concrete road blocks laying around on the side. You will always find a few scalpers there.

$125.00 is probably going to be a decent price when it's all said and done.

We dropped $300.00 a ticket for 6 together in the club level......

Check the Miami Craigslist. Can pick up the nosebleeds for $90-100.

Why would scalpers even be hard to find... it's legal to scalp.

Here in California, they tackle scalpers like drug dealers.

    I'm serious.

I was in Miami working on a project season before last, and went to a few games at Sun Life. Both college and pro games at the last minute. Never had a problem buying tickets in the parking lot, most of the time for under face "value". The only exception was for the opening Monday Night game of the season. That one was sold out, but scoring decent tickets for a fair price wasn't difficult at all. The other games were half empty.

I'm pretty seasoned with this and here is my outlook, I plan to get tickets Saturday....

First noon kickoff makes it less of a premium, just does.
In Miami the scalpers are a little rougher but don't be swayed by that.
I think the secondary market is pretty flooded...they probably had to buy in a little high so asking prices will start high mid morning...
Face is 85 and up but that can work both ways. Supply and demand...so what if some bull gators purchased a bunch of tickets , pay booster fees etc...how many fans day of game walk round with 100s of dollars in their pocket? Plus most gator sections are awful seats. I call this one a face game...anything in 400s I would hold off paying face. I believe a ton of uppers will be available. Try not even to deal with "scalpers" and be patient. Lots will be looking I'm sure but sun life stadium is gonna be charging a ton for parking and there's nothing to do around the stadium, so that will minimize those going to just try and get a ticket...yes, it is Miami and game is being hyped but south florida folks are terrible sports fans. When UM came here a few years ago with tebow it wasn't that tough of a ticket, I did pay 75 each for south end zone chair backs. But could have had sunshine or west uppers for below face close to kickoff...I've been wrong in my life but I would put this game a 5 or 6 on scale of 1-10 on scarcity of tickets and price. Biggest factors are time of day and where it is...then you add in national trend of less people going and it's September...recipe for relatively easy ticket.

I live in LA and I gave not ever had a problem scalping anything or have seen any scalpers being busted at all let alone tackled.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying in my experience, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Every once in a while some powlice write a ticket or NTA depending on local laws but In my experience scalpers are just hustling....I've done it in LA, Chicago, Philly , New York, almost everywhere in sec, Dallas, not bragging just sayin...never had a problem other than heckling back and forth...worst experience was in Portland Oregon where we bought some awesome seats to see blazers and magic, like 5 rows behind basket....some dude actually just dropped his tickets outside and they ended up being sold to us...can u believe the freaks at the arena escorted us out...with police...it was funny because the tickets were kinda wet...raining of course in Portland but they said we had to go...so we run across the scalper, who lookd like mr T, gave us 2 free ones, crappy seats but he made it right, so don't judge these guys too quick....

Wouldn't consider the market for a Dolphin game to be representative...especially 2 years ago.

It has been reported that this game may be the 2nd largest crowd for college football at Sunlife.

If I was the OP I would jump on that Stubhub ticket

Largest crowd for a Canes game at Sun Life expected Saturday as season-ticket packages nearly gone

    http://miamiherald.typepad.com/umiami/2013/09/largest-crowd-for-a-hurricanes-game-at-sun-life-expected-saturday-as-season-ticket-packages-nearly-g.html

The largest crowd in Sun Life Stadium history for a Hurricanes game is expected Saturday when the University of Miami hosts the Florida Gators in what could very well be the final regular season meeting between the two rivals.

And if you don't have a ticket yet expect to pay top dollar for a last minute seat. The game, long sold out, has individual tickets selling on the secondary market for close to $200.

The demand for Saturday's game has certainly helped the Hurricanes' season ticket sales. According to Chris Freet, Assistant Athletics Director for Communications and Marketing, only 350 to 400 of 30,000 season ticket packages remain. The cheapest are going for $390 with the most expensive stretching to $1,400.

UM sold a little less than 23,000 season tickets last year according to Freet.

Miami brought in an extra 1,313 seats behind the home team bench to accommodate a bigger crowd. Freet said capacity for Saturday's game has been set for 76,854.

I will be shocked if uppers are going for over face around 11am. Lowers are a different story...

Don't buy into the hype...they always write that tickets at any big game go for a lot on secondary market...and most of the time you can get a ticket for twenty bucks, or at least face, hey if u have money to burn by all means burn it! But I get tix on most game days and rarely have an issue....but it is an art...90 percent patience!!

I've bought and scalped tix at BHG & Dolphin Stad (Sunlife) for a long time.

My comments are driven by people I know in UM athletic dept and the general interest in the game down here...

There has been HEAVY interest in this game

I have a couple of my boys flying in from NY, GA and driving in from Jax

Got a box of 16 @ the 10 yd line

But have fun missing the start of the game to save $40 and still end up sitting in the upper deck

Didn't realize you we're so connected....thread really about general hype and fact that tickets can generally be had...as for me I doubt I will miss kickoff or be in the upper deck, but you are right saving 40 bucks for that wouldn't make sense...I know zero people in the UM athletic dept but my guess would be......that they would say there is heavy interest in the game....but thanks for the breaking news...

I suspect tickets on the street could also be scam. A few years ago at the Geoegia game the row in front if us began to over flow. Seems the counterfit ticket market had sold that row multiple times over.
