SOS would have already had the 3rd string QB in if it was not but for just a few series to change the tempo and see what happens. Who knows our 3rd string QB might be another diamond in the rough like the kid from Missouri. It sure as hell would not hurt

Whatever makes you feel better. SOS wasn't really much better when he lost 12 starters in a year, and he never had the injury issues we had this year in 1992 and 1999.

I do agree that he would have made some changes. Not sure it would have made any difference.

Maybe not. Even though we didnt win any titles in 92 and 99 we at least made the SECCG and played for titles. I know this. 92 and 99 sure felt better. What hurts so much this year, for myself anyway, is that I bought into this staff. I was obviously wrong abut them.

I just wish he would come back to Gainesville to finish his career.

That kid from Missouri was HS Player of the Year in Ohio his senior year.

Say what you want, but SOS has not won an SEC title at USCe. Had he done that at UF, he would have been run off quite a while ago by the likes of you.

Say what you want but I have no doubt that SOS would have won a few more SEC titles if he had come back to UF and would never have been run off. Never even came close to a .500 record at UF.

Either way these SOS threads are pointless.

No one had one a anything before he came here but he made the UF what it is because he made changes. I think it was 1997 FSU came in to the swamp undefeated and ranked #1 what did he do he changed QB about every other play and defeated FSU SOS did live by the theory that you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results

Doubtful that SoS would have put one of our remaining backups in. Neither guy is ready to play, let alone SEC ball. So "no" on that.

Remember when Spurrier replaced an underperforming Grossman and Palmer with Jeff Creveling?
