I liked the effort. The mixing it up on offense was brilliant. It almost seemed like we were doing something other than just running. Assignments were all way better. Tackling was way better. KT is a stud. Morning-meister or whatever his name is was pretty decent until that last play. Actually, as bad as this year has been, I'm glad our QB had that; ' try to save the day bummer.' As much as that hurt, you have to do that as a QB to realise you just don't freaking do that! It was our game to lose and we did. Definitely a hostile environment and we ignored it for the most part. If he only tossed it in the stands... IMHO we could of gone down field a few more times...playing to win vs playing not to lose.(That's coaching) Which for most of the night was done quite well. The kids played to win tonight. I have to hand it to them. For the most part the team looked strong and completely different from the lackluster effort we have witnessed the last few weeks. I feel for them, I'm proud of them and it isn't often losing makes me feel good. But the kids showed up to play, and play they did...Go Gators. Thanks for brushing off the losses and trying to win this away game. It came right down to the wire and that's all we can ask for. I don't know what happened this week during practice, but it was good. I'll spare you all with my opinions on Muschamp...tonight was the kids night. And they did a good job. I hope there are some recruits that can see through these losses and realise they can make a difference on this team. Is it the same depressing result? I don't know, It is a loss, but I'm proud of the effort and grateful to be a Gator. Good work kids.
