I agree with you completely about Driskel, but Winston's numbers would be good against air. He only has five incomplete passes in two games. Kid is damned good.

When has Driskel ever been elite, even good. We play plenty of patsies like Nevada, still waiting to see Driskel light it up like Winston has in 2 games.

Different style of offensive strategy and system. We are more of a physical, ground oriented offense and fsu is more of a passing, finesse style.

One exceptional game: Tennessee. The rest average, mediocre, or poor

Sorry you feel that way. I'm just looking for a little perspective why some coaches can play young players and have them excel, but our young players get few chances, or only get chances if an upperclassman is hurt.

why dont you just ask that question then? Why make a title like this and do you want the answer or do you just want to cry?

The answer is our young player that are not playing are not better than our older players. VH3 is playing because he is good.

Last year JD was basically a "rookie" leaning under his third OC too. So far this year, even with the ugly RZ turnovers against Miami, we moved the ball pretty darned well.

We also had three starting OL come out of the Miami game with knee injuries and had to shuffle a lot of guys around too, and we're still averaging over 400 ypg in offense.

I'm not happy about the Miami loss either, and I understand it just irritates the absolute crap out of someone to lose to an inferior team the way we did, but it happened, so, with no offense intended... stop whining about it.

    It's done, over, finis'.

    Let it go.

Is it our QB or our offense? Our coaches have decided not to “feature" our QB, they want him just managing things and putting our D in position to dominate the opponent's offense. Personally I have a hard time evaluating JD. Winston is in an offense that flings the ball around, Jeff is mostly asked not to mess up the hand-off to the RB.

He can be elite? The only way you can compare now is last years game when Jeff outplayed the guy that outplayed Jameis.

Okay my bad. He was redshirted last year so technically he wasn't second string.

Yep, and the only reason it had any success was because of ACC refs and 114 yards of penalties against UF.

People like this so called Gator Dad just make me sick. Why the hell do you have to knock the Gator coach and the Gator QB? Does it make you feel good?

If you love FSU, go buy some mustard and ketchup gear (well, you probably have some anyway in case they beat the Gators.)

Despite your eternal bitching, since Driskel became the starter, he and Champ are 11-3 against a very tough schedule, and 1-0 against your Seminoles.

Potentially both. Muschamp = Great D Coordinator. Head Coach eval is still out.

What has shown you that Driskell CAN be a good QB?

I also agree with this, even though I think Winston is better than Driskel.
