The Gump fans are gonna start second guessing Nick and Nick doesn't like being second guessed. The Nicktator might take his talents to Austin. Thoughts?

He's not going for that reason but he will go because he has peaked at bama. They had their run and now he will have an easier path and full control of the horn program.

The only Texas that Saban might jump to is Dallas (as in Cowboys). If they have another late season collapse, he might be able to get Jerruh to surrender control over front office beyond what he had in Miami.

You actually believe he doesn't have full control at Bama?

That's what I was wondering. He can do whatever he wants there. Heck, even has a statue of himself there already. He isn't going anywhere.

Saban hasn't won the SEC West 2 years running. He is washed up.

I believe he does but I believe Texas is a more enticing offer.

    False. You're thinking of 2011.

This Thanksgiving Nick mentioned to me that if something opened up here he would love to wear the Orange and Blue.

Have to wonder if this may be a turning point in their program looking back, like the 2009 game we played vs them was. We'll see over time

You can't be on top forever, not even Bama

I don't think he's going anywhere, I don't think he wants to "rebuild" again...He has a machine going on at Bammer, if I were him I wouldn't go anywhere.

Texas won't allow Saban to do what the elephants do.

Saban will leave Bama for Texas because he's afraid of Will Muschamp. ("He better be." - Jeremy Foley)

I think the pressure is off now that they lost. Think about the pressure - senior QB, three-peat, dynasty, etc. Huge massive pressure to do something only 1 or 2 teams have done. Now that they lost and they lose McCarron, he doesn't have the pressure to win the NC next year. If he went to Texas, the expectations would be huge.

Two local posters on a forum

These guys are being serious too, the fan base is terrible in Ttown and they're so spoiled that they think he is beyond his prime and willing to push him out of town.
