A-Hern not only killed a young man, he might have killed Timmy's career:sick:
Until BB cuts him, I won't believe a thing ESPiN says.
All I see is "may, could, likely"
Meh, we'll see.
Actually, based on the above article it doesn't qualify as a rumor. A rumor you have to hear outside your own head. This qualifies as a "hey, here's an idea I can write about".
Someone speculating Pats may not keep Tim <> Tim Tebow Reportedly NOT Making Patriots Roster
Misleading thread title.
espn hopes tebow never plays another down so their so called experts will not be proven wrong again
I think you have ESPN's relationship with Tebow completely backwards.
Tim Tebow is great for ESPN and they've been building him up since high school.
And yeah, the article makes numerical sense but it's by no means a given.
The ESPN logic seems a bit weird here. Didn't Hernandez get cut? So doesn't that open up a spot? And if Dennard needs to be replaced, it will also be because he got cut, opening up a space. I can understand an injured Gronk would perhaps need a replacement and still count toward the 53, but I am confused about how the other two would hurt Tebow's chances.
I assume it's about needing more depth at those positions considering the experience/reliability lost.
To hell with espn... Bunch of "talking heads'.... Nothing more...
My sentiments exactly. How does having roster spots open up hurt someone's chances of making the cut? I mean, it certainly might not help his chances, but how could it hurt them? If they lose a tight end, they'll have to pick another one up. Same as before, right?
Like I said, though. If you lose Gronkowski and Hernandez, are you comfortable putting all your eggs in the basket of two unproven TEs or do you want a little insurance?
I think he's speculating that losing an A rated tight end means you'll need two B rated tight ends. Whatever, still a bogus "story".
I could see this as a possibility, but I also think that the pats would want quality backups for their experienced/reliable guys as well, in case of normal NFL incidentals, such as injuries and murder charges etc. I think the ESPN blurb needs to elaborate on its logic a bit to be sure.
I'll buy that!
It's Gronk's injury that could create the roster issue I suppose. But adding bodies is no answer to a loss of talent. They will adjust their game plan. However, other than oft-injured Amendola they really don't have many accomplished targets for Brady. Losing A-Hern makes the windows tighter for everyone else.
I think it puts more pressure on Tebow to contribute at TE. My guess is he will accept that challenge.
TEBOW REPORTEDLY WINNING PATS STARTING QB JOB.
Really? Who is reporting that?
I walked outside my house and whispered it to the midnight sky. I'm now reporting that to you. You're welcome for the scoop.
