It will help them go undefeated and it's unlikely an undefeated FSU would be left out of the playoffs. Who knows, they might even have one loss and still get in depending on how many undefeated major programs there are. FSU has made its reputation with patty cake schedules and they will continue to benefit from them even with the playoffs.

I've tried this logic on several of my fsu coworkers but logic and fsu are not compatible

I recommend just jumping on board if true. Not sure Gator fans will ever be happy enough with any choices made for this football program. I’m not a Kiffin lover or supporter, but he was a great OC and recruiter and we can’t do diddly about the hire if true. Just more NEG post about our gator programe. Yayyyyy.

That patty cake schedule paid off this year though. Everything aligned just right for them to get where they needed to be, particularly with UF being an absolute disaster.

I know I will be in the minority on this, but I just don't find her all that attractive

The guy is a first class jerk, but I think he more or less fits our needs and we could certainly do worse in the OC hire.

Solid, pro-style OC which Muschamp wants who runs to set up the pass which our fans want, has developed workable QBs in situations where that position was a problem when he arrived, and loads the offensive side of the ball up with playmakers in recruiting.

This may be a "choke down how much everyone personally dislikes the guy because - aside from the PR hit - it has the potential to be a decent hire" kind of situation if UF decides to go that direction.

Foley and Muschamp have made it clear they don't give a damn about the fans opinion, they will probably hire Kiffen to spite fans, so we should look at positives.

    1. UT fans, their reaction will be epic. Can you imagine him beating them in Neyland next year?

    2. Recruiting: he would sew up Cook, Lane, and probably swing us a few more. Is he dirty? Maybe, but his past are all secondary violations. We won't over sign, might as well pile up some secondary violations that don't mean squat.

    3. Win/Win situation:

If he succeeds, we score points and everyone happy! Kiffen is asked to coach the first ever US Olympic football team and rides odd into the sunset while gator nation chases him pitchforks.

If he blows: Mushamp fired (yay), Kiffen fired (yay) and Kiffen's career is probably wrecked for good (yay).

On a side note, can we bring in Fulmer to coach Oline? Epic Vol trolling.

In theory, I wouldn't have a major problem with Kiffen hired as OC under a competent HC. But there are a number of problems with the hire. (1) Kiffin is actually better qualified than Muschamp. Head coach for 6 seasons (I count the sixth season, since he did all the prep work for it) for three different teams, whereas Muschamp has been HC for only three. (2) Muschamp is not a competent HC, we will not be good regardless. (3) Kiffin will not want to be OC here any longer than he absolutely has to. He will either fail (likely) or succeed and bail. Maybe even both.

Probably not...but FWIW, Kiffin and Muschamp do share the same agent (Jimmy Sexton)

Will gets fired after we go 1-4 and Lane is named Interim HC, we then win out and Lane gets the HBC job

If we did hire Kiffen, please put a muzzle on him, ban him from posting on any social networks, and have someone watching over him at every step when out on recruiting trips. lol

And when did Kiffin prove to be a competent HC? It hasn’t happened. WM has had a better season 11-1 then even Kiffin ever had.

Why do people keep pretending the second loss didn't happen?
