Match him up with Callaway and maybe we can get on probation
Why? It's the truth.
Or it could just be typos, since 1 is next to 2. Hmmm. Yes, we lost to UL and went 11-2…my bad. Feel better now that I stopped pretending? lol
Ok. There have been numerous posters saying we had a an 11-1 season that year. Thought you were one of them.
As for Kiffin, he did have a 10-2 year but couldn't play in the Pac-12 CG or go to a bowl game due to sanctions.
If Kiffen is hired I won't go to any games and I don't even know if I could watch on tv, I may just take a year off until this whole gang gets fired- I could never root for that assclown to do well, it would be worse than bringing Calipari in to coach hoops- if Wil can't win without a guy like Kiffen than F them all

Lane Kiffin come on down!!!
I could see Fisher using interest from Texas to try to double his salary at F$U, but I don't see him leaving unless Winston gets charged with an actual crime before the MNC game. Then I could see him bailing out quick.
That's not a report, its a USCw forum thread. Their just spreading rumors with no evidence like many on here are.
Lane Kiffin does not belong on the Gator sidelines. Period. We could not only do better in terms of coaching ability but there is not a doubt that we couldn't do much worse as a person. I seriously doubt Foley would go for this hire. It's one thing to stick your neck out for a guy you believe in, but a completely different thing to follow that up with allowing a guy like Kiffin to represent your school. I think Kiffin's next gig is going to either be in the booth where his controversial tendencies will be lauded by whichever network is pulling in ratings or coaching at some directional school somewhere. I think it'll be a two directional school to clarify, NW, SW... etc.
Kiffin's next head coaching gig will be his alma mater Fresno State. It will be sooner rather than later when their current coach is stolen by a bigger program.
Isn't that tebows agent as well
seems like Jimmy Sexton is everyone's agent...so we can stop using that as a link now
And no "Wild Boys, SC!!!" chants.

If Major comes I would assume he would bring Stacey Sealers with him who was probably Muschamps top choice for OL coach
I hadn't heard or thought of that.
Makes a lot of sense.
I won’t disagree about the numerous post of 11-1 and 10-2 is not better then 11-2, so WM still wins.
Searles seems like a take to me. Not sure about Major. He hasn't been the play caller in a successful offense as far as I know. Certainly not at the level that Gator fans are looking for. He might be an improvement over Pease, but likely not a "home run".
I didn't say Kiffin was a competent HC. I said under a competent HC he would be a decent hire. And while Muschamp had one season that was better than any of Kiffin's (Kiffin did have one 10-2 season at USC, not as good but still decent), that doesn't change the fact that Kiffin was an HC for longer at three different teams. I felt the same way when Weis was hired. Despite being a failure at Notre Dame, Weis had five years as a HC at one of the top college programs as well as a much longer career as a coordinator. Under an unproven first year HC, that never struck me as a relationship likely to work well.
This guy can still recruit. Even with the scholarship sanctions at USC, he still pulled in a top class. He also beat out Muschamp for Agholor, which was/is a huge need for UF. After saying this, I don't think he is coming to UF. I'm looking forward to new blood in the program and hopefully whoever they bring in can help lead us back to the top.
I get it...actually its a blog post by a USC beat writer. I did state its probably not true in another post. It was just more or less a light comment in response to Bazza's post. Yes, rumors with no evidence is in order during the transition period before an announced hire...nature of the forum beast.
