    Indeed.

There is a thread on WeAreSC announcing it, but they don't have confirmation either. Last post was yesterday. They haven't even talked about it today.

If Adoree does do the USC OV, then our chances must be pretty much nil. He's pretty much lived with the USC team for the last year - there's nothing about the program, other than the coaching staff, that he is unfamiliar with. A USC OV means he's there to live it up and give the coaches his silent commitment. He's been recruited so long that he isn't going to be wooed - have to believe the last OV goes where he's already chosen.

I don't know if I agree with that. I would think that would be the case with UF or UCLA because the head coaches are the same at both schools, but he may want to hear what Sark has to say about how he will be used and get a better feel for the coaches in general. He doesn't have to do that at UF or UCLA so the visit in those cases is more of a formality rather than real information gathering. USC is the exception. He may very well commit but of the three that is the only school where he might still be information gathering with the coaches about his ability to get along with them and what his role will be. I wouldn't write him off just because he visits there.

Wow, tough crowd. Ban-worthy? lol. Just passing on information. According to USC people this is a done deal. Just waiting for Adoree to announce it publicly. But they are saying he has indeed selected to take his OV there. I hope and would love to be wrong, but like I said earlier, just passing on what I was told.

I found their statements to be interesting because, most on the USC board have felt snake-bitten from the whole Jalen Ramsey saga. As such, very few over there have actually predicted Adoree to end up at USC or that they even stood a chance.

No offense, but just who is "they"? USC message boards? Are they as reliable as our "insiders"? Lots of foolishness this time of year.

I'm with you... I looked at the WeAreSC message board earlier and found no confirmation of that OV. Somebody posted it was going to happen, but others questioned it, and question whether they'll get Adoree (or Ajax as they call him).

Wouldn't surprise me if it happens, but it's hardly a done deal from what I can tell.

    http://www.am570radio.com/media/podcast-petros-and-money-PetrosAndMoney/124-pms-hour-4-24236008/

Adoree Jackson was on Fox Sports Radio AM 570 in LA today. He said his list still consists of six schools: Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UCLA and USC.

Said as a kid he liked USC, LSU and UF - mentioned Percy Harvin as one of his favorite players. He's Up for playing O or D,being told different things by different schools. Said track is very important to him, wants to go to the Olympics in 2016. Said he's a better long jumper than he is a football player. Track & Field will play a strong role in his decision making.

Really didn't tip his hand much on what he's going to do.

He said he hopes to narrow it to a final four next week before settling on two or three for national signing day.

He also said he plans to announce in a manner no one else has, wants to stand out. His ceremony will air live on ESPNU on Feb. 5.

No mention of any scheduled visit.

you can listen to the interview around the 14:15 mark on the link above. Sounds like a solid young man.

I hope our track coach has paid him a visit or two... I like the Percy Harvin comment, especially since OSU ( and their coach) are not in the mix. Percy is, and will always be a Gator, no matter which other school tries to cash-in on that position.... as a sales pitch.

To be fair, he also mentioned Bush. Plays it close to the vest. He knows everyone is watching him.

If track is the deciding factor then I like our chances. 2012 Olympics gold medal triple jump, Gator. Bronze medal long jump, Gator. Who knows?

Gatorpower's post was code from the programming language jQuery (pretty sure it is at least).

Yes, it was jQuery. To be technical, jQuery is just JavaScript with alternative ways of referencing objects and variables. JavaScript, in turn, is just a "dialect" of the actual ECMAScript language.
