He ended that sentence with "sir." He won't do well at FSU with that kind of behavior.

Grier said a while back that Muschamp was looking for another athletic QB that could also play another position. He fits the bill, smart offer.

Duke used multiple quarterbacks for their option attack last year, so Roper may like the idea of having a couple of quarterbacks who can run.

Good passing numbers, especially efficiency. Rushing yards are not impressive and he's not especially fast. Rivals has him listed as the #3 dual threat QB behind Grier. 247 has him as the #8 athlete. Must be a real shifty runner or a Chris Leak type, undersized QB with uncanny accuracy.

Looks like it's going to be between UF and UM. Not going to weigh in on whether or not I want him in this class without knowing what we plan to do with him and who else at other positions is available. I don't even know what available means anymore since everyone coming our way is a "flip."

Reminds me of Johnny Football on some of these scrambles.

CJ Worton and Treon Harris - are we seriously going to help FSU more than UF by taking their lower rated players to free up space for higher rated players who are trying to get into the nolie class? FSU is sitting at 29 with a 30 max and 5 were EEs so they are down to 6 ships. I've been told FSU has gotten a bump in interest from the national championship game and they are having to turn away 4 and 5 star athletes.

Worton appears to be a duplicate of Sousa.

Harris seems a bit short and I doubt he has any chance to beat out Driskel or Grier. Maybe he's a WR or DB in college?

Both are visiting 3 schools over the next 3 weekends. Looks to me like Jimbo is encouraging them to look around to try to open additional slots in his class.

I hope you know that none of what you say makes any sense at all. If FSU didn't want these players, they wouldn't hold onto them. If FSU has bigger fish in the sea that they want on their squad, they would let go of the players they don't want. That's just how recruiting works.

I hope you know what you said doesn't make sense. Jimbo doesn't want to withdraw the offers without cause because it would be a blackeye publically and upset his overall recruiting efforts beyond this year. I can't imagine Jimbo cutting the strings to the coach of one of the better high schools in Miami (Harris' school).

My opinion is Jimbo keeps these long time committed kids unless they decide to move on. My observation remains that UF would be helping FSU more than UF by taking these kids.

I'm not sure about Worton but FSU definitely wants Treon.

Harris has won 3 straight florida state titles, in one of the most talent rich, competitive regions in the nation, is a coaches son, and is well respected amongst most of the south fla. Kids.

Is certainly a LOSS to any school that misses out on him and a GAIN to any school that gets him regardless of position.

Watch him play miami central(Dalvin's team) in the playoffs. He certainly looked like a man among boys. And central isn't exactly a team full of cheerleaders. (Unless you count de'vante phillips as cooks personal cheerleader):)

This post comes off as if Jimbo just told you this over the phone. None of these guys are enrolled yet and Jimbo could easily find some technicality as to why he can no longer offer to any recruit even Treon harris. Yet you state it's obvious to you that he wants them to leave to make space but doesn't want to cut off ties to the booker t. Washington H.S. If it's obvious to you that Fisher is pushing him gently out the door, don't you think it would be obvious to his coach who is also his father?

You don't know recruiting. South Florida is the cream of the crop and Treon Harris would be a major coup if he decides to flip. If he's successful and enjoys his time at UF, it will the the scholarship that will pay residuals.

Great film. Those schools he is playing against provide half the starters for schools all over the country.

Its odd that we offer the best h.s. qb In the state and try to flip him from our hated rival for depth and potential play making ability only to have posters write him off as FSU'S trash that they want someone else to take out yet in the same breath say champ can't get top offensive talent.

That is the epitome of "damned if you do, damned if you don't"
