I've heard from a reliable source that Muschamp did indeed handcuff the offense. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Muschamp was married to the whole pound the rock ball control crap and even flat out said after Pease was hired that we will still have the same identity of offense.

    No kidding.

You said in an earlier post that there was no proof. I just provided you the proof.

Exactly, IIRC, Muschamp was the head coach in 2012 too. Unlike Meyer whose stubbornness cost us a game or two before he made changes, Muschamp's stubbornness has taken us to depths we haven't seen since 1979. Hopefully hitting rock bottom finally got it through to him.

That's all that Meyer cost us ? Huh ?

    I don't think so.

Oh I didn't realize the question was brought up to worry about 2012. As stated as well Weis had full reign. I guess we'll just continue to live in the past.

Pinkel has been coaching college football for 23 years and Malzahn is nothing short of brilliant.
What makes you think our guy is even in the same solar system as those two?

Champ is a brilliant defensive mind. The right OC and this team will be in the title game.

Like I pointed out a week ago in one of the Roper threads... being successful in 2014 is going to rely on a lot more than just a new OC and letting him run the O without meddling in it... it's going to depend whether Muschamp can win back this team's trust and confidence in him again, and let me say this... that's going to be extremely, extremely hard for him to do.

Once a team folds like this one did this year and loses it's confidence in it's HBC, it's danged near impossible to get that trust back.

Muschamp hasn't lost their trust or confidence. Not sure where you are getting your info.

The only quotes I've seen are from players that support Muschamp. I'm not sure where he is getting info to the contrary, but if true, it would be helpful if he shared with the rest of us. If not, it looks like random drivel. If it is just an opinion, I can live with that. But as stated, it reads like the poster knows something about the players' mentality.

after watching the first quarter of the Duke game, if Muschamp does loses his job, bring on Cutlif and company.
