Man could sure preach, I'll give him that. We used to seldom miss one of his programs.
Never watched him much, but I did see Jerry Lee in about '63 and I was never the same.
Anyway, for the heckuvit I just checked Youtube and, lo and behold, here is a song recorded by Jimmy and his Golden Gospel Piano in 1968. The piano playing is a lot calmer than Jerry Lee's (no surprise there) but you can hear some similarities.

If you have watched the movie on the life of Lewis you'll see a part in there about Swaggart. I believe he was standing in a truck preaching.
