Anyone have any updates on Chad Thomas? Seems to be perhaps the most highly rated recruit left uncommitted in Florida (according to the sites I'm looking at, he is at most a soft commit to Miami at this point).

According to the Wisconsin Scout site, the GA duo Patterson & Sanders have cancelled their visits to UF this weekend after meeting with the Wisconsin head coach & staff.

Wisconsin sprung for matching snow shovels and windsheild ice scrapers for the soon to be frozen duo.

At 6'4 225 does he have the frame to play BUCK? I'm getting that is the only LB position staff wishes to fill. Dante Fowler came out at 235-240.

It's a very nice campus, a gorgeous city and overall setting. Took everything I had to talk my daughter out of going there. Actually, I didn't even talk her out of it. I just told her we couldn't afford it.

This is a fine class. I don't think there will be much improvement between now and NSD. I'm thinking Prince and a few guys that will fit nicely but not get too many people excited. Ranking will be in the lower part of the top ten. Not bad at all considering our record, plus this class will complement last year's nicely. Screw the rankings for now. Let's get the guys that will fit our system and help us win games.

Time to start working on 2015.

There are half a million people in Dane County. There's been steady growth there since 1840. Median household income is comparable to the most affluent counties in Florida, though I'm sure their heating bills cut pretty deeply into that. Madison is the nicest mid-sized city in the midwest, maybe the US. I'd move there in a heartbeat if I wasn't addicted to the high stimulation of a big city.

Gotta cut this post short. I have some snow to shovel.

Most of us will be patient. Some of us will become mental patients.

It seems odd to be hosting only one official on our final weekend. I guess it should be taken as a good sign. We have just about everyone we need. Hope Damien has a nice time along with those 30 juniors on unofficial visits. That's a very impressive group.

I'll be happy if we finish we Prince. I think he's the most important guy left onboard. We lose Green, Trenton Brown, Garcia (even though a starter at OG, can play either tackle spot) and possibly Humphries after next season. All four can play tackle if needed.

Harkless, Sarvary and Sharpe are all prospects who project to play tackle, and I think Taven Bryan ends up getting a look at OT at some point in his career. Landing Prince would do a lot for the future of the position.

The only degree that counts for me and a lot of southern people in on the thermometer. Shovel your snow, I am going swimming instead. It is supposed to reach 80 down here. We look forward to Easter so we can watch the snowbirds fly back north.

I won't live anywhere you can't grow mango's. To each his own, but I have never owned a snow shovel and never will.

Those recruits going north can check out the women who look like the Michelin Man while the smart ones can check out bikini's down here...

    rpm...
I see that you got the same qualifiers that I do...
    Mango trees and bikinis...

Seriously... Mangos are my favorite fruit. Once when I was down in Cozumel at a hotel.... they had a brekfast buffet.
They had this huge platter of sliced, ripe mangos. I just about consumed the whole platter. They almost asked me to leave the dining area (not really).
But don't stick a 6'5"...275 lb guy in front of a platter of mangos... they will be gone before you can say,
    "Playa de Carmen" !

The place could be dripping in diamonds and offer free Ben and Jerry's on Sundays, but if you're covered in snow most of the year - no THANK YOU.:cool:
