His legacy will be the collapse of the economy. Both he and Reid, deliberately and methodically, with the help of their mainstream publicists, want a complete liberal takeover. Arrogant and defiant, these morons are going to ruin any sign of a recovery right into the dirt.

The Nixonian dictator/bully is acting like a three year old. And Reid is following lock step. Evil men.

What Obama is doing to not allowing the Tea Party Pubs to legislate (cuts in SS or medicare) or repeal a law(ACA) by extortion.

Nana, the pubs would be doing Obama a favor by delaying the individual mandate fines for a year. It is a cluster for people trying to use the exchanges and the insurance companies will begin pulling out as the #s actually enrolling are way less than projected. #s were at 51 K total nationwide for first 10 days. And most of those signing up were likely those with chronic conditions unable to obtain coverage prior.

Wasn't extortion used to pass Obamacare?

BTW, when the libs demand concessions, it's bipartisanship. When the Pubs demand concessions, it's extortion.

    Nana, turn off MSNBC.

Passing Obamacare wasn't extortion.....if the pubs are sore about it, they have only themselves to blame. They obstructed rather than compromise and work out a good plan.

Republicans didn't have a choice when ACA was voted on. They were outnumbered even with 34 democrats joining their side. ACA actually had bipartisan nays vs 100% partisan yays. That's why they won the 2010 midterms. But by then ACA was firmly entrenched and I knew even back then that no one could reverse course.

0 will not accept any deal now without more taxes. Reid and Jarrett will continue to try and capitalize on this crisis and the msm finger pointing at the pubs to get more blood out of the producers so they can use it to buy more votes

Nana. The liberals stole the Minnesota election with ballots in someone's trunk, stole the Alaskan seat with a smear campaign and promised a payoff to the Nebraskan and Louisiana senators. Hence, 60 liberal votes. No pubs voted for this extortion.

The only major piece of legislation without bipartisan support. Ever. Liberals love rewriting the truth.

Is this part of that "it is the law of the land" argument that kept Democrats from fighting the tax rate reductions in 2001 and 2003, which were also the law of the land? Or DOMA, the law of the land?

That argument is only for the laws the Dems like, and the ones that are "just, and true" or "good for America" remember we have to pass it to find out what is in it! Now more people are finding out what is in it and don't like it. But it is untouchable.

Hey it's the only thing Obama has really gotten done so they'll fight til the end. Otherwise he's just another empty suit who spent like hell and played a lot of golf!

There's a small, white, fundamentalist minority in this country that will never acknowledge that they are no longer in charge.

They will use all means necessary to do by fiat what they can no longer achieve electorally.
