We have a highly ranked 2014 class considering we have only 14 recruits committed. My concern is that several of our major foes are ranked above us because our numbers are so low. Hopefully we'll have more guys commit to us but right now things aren't looking to good especially since WM pulled coaches off the recruiting trail during a very critical time. Your thoughts?

We should become fans of a school that is ahead of us in recruiting since stars by recruiting services mean the world to people. We all know that the teams ahead of us will be much better because they have a better recruiting class as determined by people that have probably never once coached or played football. Maybe once WM gets us ANOTHER top 5 class we can then become Gator fans again. SMH

We probably aren't gonna take a full class this year.

We are in the hunt for a number of quality guys though.
2 or threeOLs, a linebacker or two, a pass rushing end, And maybe a receiver will complete this class.
The guys at these positions we are in it for if we got them on board I could easily see our class being top 5.
Additions of adoree Jackson, Jamal Adams, David sharpe, Damian prince(longshot), Raekwon McMillan, and johnie Dixon or Travis Rudolph would push this class to top 5.
This year will be quality over quantity

Not entirely sure I understand the concern. We have a great class so far and we are still recruiting. Who cares if we pulled the coaches in off the road for two days in October? That will hardly have some direct correlation with the class's outcome. Plus, we don't have a ton of scholarships to offer this year anyway, so I wouldn't expect us to have the volume of some other programs.

OP, you have to realize that we had a pretty large class last year so this year won't be as big but the talent is for sure there, alot of issues being addressed , OL, QB, WR and RB with cook who is a special player. you have to look at last year's class to be able to see that this year we don't necessarily need a bulk of players but certain talent at crucial positions which seems to be getting addressed

win games recruiting is real easy! Lose games and play tuff recruiting is still easy. Lose games and look like crap on a white dog recruiting is a hard sell.

Where are you going with this? Are you saying our recruiting success is reflecting our success on the field? If so, your terribly wrong.

Get Sharpe, get Carter, keep Cook and Lane, and I'm prepared to walk away satisfied with this class.
