Well..looks like this could be the last weekend we will be ranked for sometime. Who knew that playing Mizzou would be so critical as where the season goes. I predict that a loss here, will unravel a pretty shaky season for the team and we will struggle to get to 6-6 the rest of the way.

    The chicken little of gatorcountry.

You notice that he only shows up to predict doom and is nowhere to be found when anything good happens.

It's a valid point where you agree with it or not. I'm hoping for a win. I'm hoping for the OL to do a good enough job. But we have all seen the product on the field and no amount yelling during practice is going to fix a systemic problem that we have all seen this season. The potential for a win is there, I'm just hoping this teams grabs it and sneaks away with a victory. None of us would have ever imagined that we would be underdogs to Mizzou!

Do you think the back up QB will make the diference vs our second rate D? There will be no sneaking away. Mizzzzzu will be down looking up, unless like you say, the sky falls.

Nah, I think we'll win. The one scenario I could see is if we have one or two more injuries on our defensive line (or offensive line, for that matter). We'd be in real trouble at that point.

Missouri has good talent on the edges offensively, and on the interior defensively. Hopefully, we exploit the areas they aren't so strong in.

Hate to burst your bubble, but we're 3 point road favorites.

I know that's not double digits like many here expect, but considering our injury problems and their big win in Athens last weekend, that's not too bad.

I'm predicting we win this game easily and stand in good position to win the east. 6-6 will never happen.

The OP is a notorious doomsayer, who only shows up after losses or when adversity hits our football and basketball programs.

If we win a big game, he's nowhere to be found.

He's been doing this since the AOL days, Tommy. How long ago is that? Nearly 20 years now?

without their starting QB, fla should have enough to beat them in a close game, but only if they can get a 7-10 point lead first. If they have to come from behind, it will not be good. The offense is not built for that. The D can't get up easy early TDs like the miami and lsu games.

I think I was running Windows 3.11 on my 386 when I first found the AOL UF group.

    Yep, close to 20 years.....

Ahh, the AOL board. Remember GatorBay? Gawd, did he hate me with a fury! I loved to torment him. In 2002, I attended a conference in Clearwater Beach and found where his home was located. He was super anal about personal security, and when I went on the board and described his house in detail, he went nuts! I swear, I thought he was going to have the bloodhounds looking for me in the hotels. I truly believe that he is the only person who would have shot me on sight if he ever saw me...

We are afraid of Mizzou now? I'm not saying they aren't playing very well and can't beat us, but give me break!

I believe we can win every game we play. I've felt that way for pretty much every game since I became a Gator in '94. I'm not saying we are going to win them all, but there is no reason we should enter a game thinking we are going to lose.

No losses from this point are going to unravel a shaky season (except Vandy) We have a ridiculously difficult schedule. We still control out destiny for the SEC East. I can't say I'm not disappointed in how this season has gone so far, but it's a little early for the sky is falling attitude.

    Go Gators!
