    A. Not my point.

    He made three points:
    1. Fox News audience is more white.
    2. Fox News audience is more Southern.
    3. Fox News audience is poorer.

I stated explicitly that I did not answer the racial or regional questions, just the income one, of which there is pretty good proof.

You made a very good point about the income, although I can still question the poll's accuracy/honesty in that regard. Information from polls are the easiest 'possible' ruse one could use to "prove" a point... I prefer empirical evidence to make it factual.

Everything short of that is too inaccurate for me.

I have no empirical evidence to back up my position that the majority of Fox viewers are white and live in the south but come on! ...the FNC panders hard to the Republican party base (which is middle aged to old, poor, white and southern). Does anyone believe that an educated 30 year old black professional in NYC would find anything enlightening about the O'Reilly and Hannity diatribes? FNC isn't looking for moderates to convert. They are just preaching to their exclusive choir.

    And what about it?

Plus Fox's "choir" is bigger than MSNBC's and CNN's.

Who's Rachel Maddow and why does she think anyone cares what comes out of her trap?

I swear I have never listened to this woman. Not once.

But I don't watch the idiots on the View either.

You'd puke if you were forced to listen to her for an entire show. She's that bad.

I watched Rachel's show last night for a little bit. I watched because, while flipping through channels, I noticed Rachel was talking about the WH's move yesterday to stop enforcing marijuana laws in Colorado and Washington.

Finally, Rachel and I were in 100% agreement. Everything she mentioned in the segment, Rachel and I agreed. She talked about Holder's move to lessen mandatory sentencing surrounding drug cases. She talked about making crack cocaine and regular cocaine equivalent in Federal cases.

Yet, despite my 100% agreement with her in that segment, she still remained unwatchable. She's is absolutely awful in the ways she presents. She wags her finger. She adds to much inflection which comes off as contrived enthusiasm. She seems condescending towards the audience. She's just plain nasty and awful.

Based on that segment, I've come to the conclusion that Rachel's ratings problem isn't just about her opinions. After all, based on the elections, 50% of population generally agree with her more often than they agree with O'Reilly or Hannity. Instead, her ratings suck because she's an absolutely horrible host and is unwatchable (regardless of your political viewpoint).

I totally agree with what you said about Maddow, she's completely unwatchable... but she's still better than Al Sharpton... he's a real moron.

Shouldn't Maddow's ratings be combined with those of Chris Hayes since they are the same gender confusing person?

True. There is an endless list of talented, left-leaning, intelligent, interesting African-Americans. And, they pick Al Sharpton? Really?

It's similar to CNN's pick of Newt Gingrich for their regurgitation of Crossfire. There is also an endless list of likeable, interesting right-leaning White guys. And CNN picks the most grating and unlikable conservatives of all time? Really?

FNC promotes Megyn Kelly with a new show. Meanwhile, MSNBC and CNN give Al Sharpton and Newt Gingrich new shows.

No wonder FNC continues to kick the crap out of CNN and MSNBC.

Rachel's show is the opposite of the yelling pablum Fox viewers demand. It requires a baseline level of sophistication to appreciate.

Goods news here...it is officially Comedy Hour now with this input.:laugh:

"It requires a baseline level of sophistication to appreciate".... Yeah, right.

It requires a high degree of appreciation for the most condescending level of hosting ever inflicted upon a viewing audience, to go along with arrogance--ultra liberalism--and a smugness matched only by the Pile of Chit in Chief. She does indeed rival the Great Jackass himself when "being smirky" is a part of the plan.

So now we know that you must possess that level of 'sophistication' you proclaim---who are the other two or three viewers in the country who can match your sophistication?

My goodness, you are great entertainment.
