    1. Miami gave up more than 30 points and more than 400 yards per game last year. Do you expect the Hurricanes to be much improved this year or will they be the cure for Florida’s offensive blahs?

    2. For years, Florida-Miami was a great rivalry game but it’s been nearly 30 years since it was a yearly affair. Would you like to see this become an every year game once again or are you content to play Miami once every so often?

    3. Steve Spurrier and South Carolina have beaten Georgia three consecutive years. Spurrier was 11-1 against Georgia when he was coaching Florida. Is Spurrier in the heads of Georgia coach Mark Richt and Bulldog fans? Do the Gamecocks make it four straight over Georgia Saturday?

    1. Not sure
    2. Playing scUM helps them far more than we will ever know. We should cut them off permanently and keep undermining their recruiting grounds until they are as irrelevant as they used to be in the 70s.
    3. Yep.

    1. With a year of experience they should be improved. Whether they're "much improved" is hard to say but considering how bad they were last year almost any improvement would be "much."

    2. No, we're well rid of them after this year.

    3. Yes Yes - UGa doesn't seem to have much of a defense. UGa's loss of their leading receiver should hurt their offense.

1: No, our offense is what it is, and it will always be so, it's by design.

2: Nope, they and all of their fans are garbage

3: Don't care, I hope both lose every game.

    1. To me, it's good, hard-nosed, physical, grind it out football. I wouldn't call it the "blahs". It's fun to watch from my perspective. Miami's defensive personnel aren't near the quality of what we have. Why do so many pundits expect magical improvement from the UM defense?

    2. No. We don't need them. Wouldn't mind seeing them in a bowl game occasionally.

    3. Georgia will probably win this weekend, but I hope USCe wins it.

    1) Yes, Miami will be improved on defense. Nothing amazing but back to being at least a decent defense.

    2) I think Miami and UF should play ever 3-4 years. Something like that.

    3) I think Georgia wins just as long as the players are up for it and ready to go.

Almost ditto tilly except I think UM's defense will show some improvement.

    Not enough, though.

    1. Compared to 30ppg and >400ypg, they should be much improved. Certainly against FAU they were (6 points and 250 yards). That said, I think we get our 30 points and >400 yds.

    2. Nope. Screw 'em.

    3. I think USCe has just been better than UGA the past three years. And I'd be happy to see that is still the case. I'll take the fighting Spurriers in this one.

    1. Yes, I think it will be substantially improved. It may not be enough to beat Florida, however.
Their offense will still have to move the ball on our defense, & I think that will be a tall order for them.

    2. As an eighties Gator, I would like to play them every year. I hate them more than any other team except for Georgia. If that meant dropping our FCS rentawin, so be it. Besides, why should anyone complain? After all, Miami is only an ACC team...

    3. No and yes. Mark Richt is a professional coach, the fans are utterly irrelevant, and Spurrier is no evil genius anymore. South Carolina wins on defense these days, and Spurrier does not do defense. He leaves that to Lorenzo Ward. Spurrier will have a good game plan in place however, and South Carolina should win it. Given the choice of having a good offense or defense, I will take defense every day of the week, Georgia has problems on defense. Even Spurrier's offense should score enough points to win.

    3. I think has been in Mark's since he was at sow. I see the only 2 games that USC can lose in the SEC is our game and UGA's. Therefore to ensure that they have 2 losses (UGA and us) and UGA has 2 losses (us and LSU) I think we need UGA to win. We always seem to lose a game in the SEC so to ensure we go to Atanta and avoid the tie breakers, I think we need a UGA win.
