    1. Although practice doesn't begin until October, what do you see emerging as Florida's starting lineup when the season begins in November?

    2. Who is the best high school basketball player you ever saw?

    3. If you had to select an All-Billy Donovan Era UF team, what would be your starting five?

    1. Wilbekin, Frazier, Finney-Smith, Harris and Young.

    2. Moses Malone thought Frank Johnson and Otis Birdsong were close.

    3. This is very hard in my view:

PG: Taurean Green SG: Mike Miller, SF: Corey Brewer, PF: Udonis Haslem C: Al Horford

Wilbekin will miss November and perhaps games in December too.

Wilbekin won't be off suspension until December at the earliest.

    1. Hill, Frazier, Young, Prather, Yeguette
    2. Best I saw in person: Chris Corchiani (I've seen players who were better in college & pro, but nobody controlled a HS game like Corch)
    3. Green, Humphrey, Brewer, Noah, Horford - Never been a more successful starting five in NCAA history

Sticking with Wilbekin. Stranger things have happened. And if not Wilbekin, I think everyone knows it will be Hill. Not a lot of speculation there.

1 - Young, Yeguette or Harris, Finney-Smith or Prather, Frazier, and Wilkebin or Hill

2 - Played in HS with Bret Bearup who was recruited to Kentucky, but best I ever saw personally in HS was a kid named Wayne McCoy, who ended up at St Johns. Could dunk two basketballs (one in each hand) simultaneously while in HS. Also played with a kid named Todd Jamison in all-star leagues. Todd was small in size, but could outjump 6'8'' kids. I think he went on to play football in college. Also played with Phil Weber in traveling tournaments who later went on to NC State and was an assistant coach for the Gators at one time.

    3 - 04's, as basketball is a team game

Well Wilbekin is the starter. He will likely be suspended some games, but he is still the starter in my view. So I would have substituted in Hill or Carter had you asked who will Donovan start given that his starting PG will be suspended some games early in the season.

I know opinions are just opinions but I don't see how anyone can leave Mike Miller off the list whether you call him a two or a three.

I understand what you are saying and it was not a slight to Miller. Kind of hard when you are choosing just 5 but I like Hump at the 2 so if I rotated one out and one in it would be Miller at the 3.

    1) Hill, DFS, Young, Yegutte & Fraz.
    2) ''Sudden'' Sam MaCants -Pensacola Catholic/Oral Roberts. Who was the ''Big'' on his team that set picks for Sammy that went on to be an All Pro O Lineman for the Dolphins??? That'l tell me who the real Floridian basketballers are!! Sammy was the best I saw in HS & I saw em all, including Birdsong of Winter Haven who is a close 2nd. Also liked ''Chocolate Thunder''!!
    3) The 06 & 07's. No debate here. One of the best college teams of all times. Humphrey was the glue man - Mr. Clutch. Never forget the 7 3's he banged in at Rupp to beat the Cats!!

Greens significance seems to be greatly underappreciated. He didn't have flash like Williams but he was a better overall player here
