Figures. As @theghost said earlier, the QB dominoes are falling quickly.

With the transfer of Jake Allen we most likely go for a second QB.

Clemson has 3 QBs that could start for us. The rich get richer

If CDM can get the offense going, the QB's put up some good numbers, the top QB recruits will start looking more at UF. Winning cures all.

One can never know how things look at the end of the season, but right now I don't think we have the recruiting pull to get two highly rated high school QBs in the same class. I think getting two means either one guy is a significant step back talent wise (in which case why waste the scholly) or has a different eligibility window (transfer or JUCO).

Would be a good case for Joe Burrow to transfer here.

Yeah. But I think they are going to give him the job for the start of the year and flip over to Haskins sometime during the year. I think Meyer is going to do everything he can to keep both QBs.

Alabama gets Tua's brother - no surprise. This is their 2nd QB in the 2019 class. Curious to see what happens w/ Hurts and Mac Jones (at least one of them transfers, maybe both).

Will Bama ever be held accountable for their shady shit? I suppose they’ve purchased the rights to all the children in that family.

It is interesting how Trent Richardson’s family and Tua’s families can move to Bama and secure nicer houses/lifestyles after their kids commit to Bama.

There's a thread on 247 about a minor league baseball player from Manatee HS that committed/signed w/ Miss State in 2013, but never enrolled (to play baseball), Cord Sandberg, talking to Mullen about coming to UF.....he's now 23 playing AA ball.

There were some Gators who really wanted him, but right now getting this unproven option versus getting Burrow if he would choose us for two years, is an easy call. You go with the guy who is ready to go this year.

Yeah, he was the #8 DT QB coming out of HS and a top 300 (ranked 240th or so)....he's listed at 6'3 215 on his baseball profile. He'd need to enroll asap (for Summer B at least) if he's going to have a shot. I imagine Burrow will enroll wherever he goes by Summer B.

And Burrow appears to be transferring. Mullen needs to snag him and sign Jones in 2019, and we are set.

Or he is a QB that just really wants to be on the football team at UF for his career or a few years. You’ll see schools sign the #2 QB that is either a high floor with low ceiling, coach’s kid with a high football IQ that would love to be at UF/UGA/FSU etc rather than going to La Tech. Knows he won’t start until 4th or 5th year, if at all, or only due to injury as the emergency back up. Or schools sign a really raw QB prospect and hope that he can be a back up to your #1 QB recruit for a couple years before he transfers once he sees the QBs below him getting more snaps.
