I'd rather OSU win than UGA get a championship

You'd root for a bitter rival that has caused Gators heartache on many occasions against a team that has never caused the Gators any heartache? Interesting.

Michigan Ohio State is a different game. Always is. Always will be. Its going to be one of those game in the 40s for both teams as neither has any semblance of a defense. Interestingly, its going to be like the 2006 game all over again; however, CUM is on that side. How will he lobby to the media this go around?

    Yeah. FSU, not UGA.

My dislike of OSU and how meyer treated this team on his way out goes that deep.

How in the world can anyone pull for FSU over OsU? They would have 3 titles and directly compete in recruiting and are a bitter rival. If the buckeyes won, I would get over it in a day.

Thank you. Both of them losing today would have been epic.

I don't want Urban Meyer winning any games but since they play a patty cake schedule and won't lose, I'd easily root for UGA or FSU over any Liars team.

That Urban Meyer guy sure can coach.

Personally I think OSU has plenty of holes - particularly on Defense and they don't pass the ball very well but....Urban has them winning week after week despite this. Its unfortunate he burned out at UF and I admit I'm a little surprised he has been able to handle the stress at OSU thus far but he has.

Way back I used to root for FSU in most games but one, just because the represented the state of Florida. That was before the state gained respect as a great football state. But after Mickey Andrews turned them into thugs my attitude changed. By the way, in the same time frame I never rooted for the University of Miami because I never considered them a Florida school.

Sorry to disappoint but OSU has beaten an SEC team: Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. While the victory is vacated from OSUs books it still shows as a loss on Arkansas's record. The fact is they won on the field. It was not vacated for anything that had to do with football.

look closer at their schedule and the scores against some less than stellar team.

The unbeaten record doesn't look so pretty then. Not too hard to win week after week against the teams they are playing.

They had a losing record the year before he got there. They are now in the middle of his 2nd year and have yet to lose a game. Yes their schedules have been easy but still....they had a losing record against that same Big 10 schedule before he got there.

Never said he wasn't a good coach. Just that the unbeaten record isn't very impressive to me based on who they have beaten

Not much of a mystery. Compared to coaching here, there isn't that much. He wanted an easier gig where he could rack up cheap wins. That's fine, but he should have said so and left immediately.

OSU winning a title isn't without recruiting implications either. Meyer has every intent to break into Florida and sell his mickey mouse schemes to our prospects.

OSU is a fraud. A dark side of me would love to see them get into the NCG as they will get manhandled by any team with a defense.

Oh I think you're absolutely correct about that. If they get into an MNC game and get matched up against the typical SEC Champ, they will get mauled.

If they can go undefeated in the next 4 games, they will play for it all, IMO.

@(15)Washington, vs Washington St, vs(12) UCLA, @(5) Stanford.

Offense is excellent and so far their D hasn't been challenged. Will be interesting to see, but I'd much rather watch Oregon than OSU for sure...

Didn't watch much of their game but one thing that stood out was Northwestern' looked like a cellar SEC team.

There's no way we're going to a bowl this year. I know this because I followed the game thread last night.
