IMHO I believe with Scottie not injured in our game against them earlier this season we would have won at their place. We should be able to beat them but I believe Michigan State would represent a tougher challenge for us

Agree. I'd love to see our guys get another shot at both the Badgers and the Huskies!

    I don't like the match-up with Payne.

Yep, UConn all the way. MSU and Arizona are the only two teams that worry me and there's a good chance we could play both. I would love to see UConn in the Final Four and Wisconsin in the final. How sweet would that be to beat the only two teams that beat us all season long?

Probably true, Savage, but I'm ok either way at this point. I'll take a grind it out game against anyone at this point.

Definitely UConn is the easier of the two IMO.

I want the revenge factor in play for us. That miracle bounce and shot by Napier won't sit well with our guys this week if we do get UCONN

we'd still have revenge for MSU in 2000. but UCONN was against this team

The fact that both are in the Elite 8 says wonders about our program.

You know what. I was going to, but I'm tired of hearing about Michigan State. I believe we are the best team, and want to beat the best. Though UConn rematch would be nice.

On the face of it. I think most would give MSU a decent edge over UConn. MSU is -5.5, but this game is in MSG, which is a very friendly UConn locale. I'm thinking toss up, on this one.

I too am rooting for UCONN. Michigan St. IMO is a 50/50 game while UCONN is more of a 60/40 game. I always want to face a team where our odds of winning goes up. Plus, love the revenge factor.

Also, hoping Michigan beat Kentucky. Don't want to have to beat them 4 times. Wisconsin or Michigan would be nice revenge as well.

Yeah I wouldn't feel too comfortable making any kind of a bet on this one. UConn plays a different type of game than MSU, and I always struggle to predict how that will play out. Will MSU grind UConn down? Will UConn shoot MSU out of their comfort zone? I have no idea.

Same thing with Florida. Some of us worried about Pitt's strength and thought that we'd bully UCLA's finesse. If anything, it seems like the opposite happened. In the regard, it could be that Florida matches up better with MSU than UConn.

I was with you until I watched the game, MSU was real sloppy and Payne was a stiff, we would have crushed them, their guards were very unimpressive, UConn has the Shabbaz factor, kid is excellent
