Six catches for 118 yard and a TD. He did his best to violate the game plan and turn a close, character-building loss into a satisfying UF rout.

Patton and Dunbar both actually played really well when we actually threw it to them.

Ya, those guys were beasts. That was Patton who snared that long ball right? Incredible catch. The offenses few bright spots

One of the silver linings today was the foundation of a receiving corp at Florida. Dunbar, Patton, and Burton look like they are picking it up. But, the staff needs to find a TE/outlet, and they need to get Matt Jones and Showers more involved out of the backfield in the passing game. Playing QB is hard enough, but playing without a legit outlet option is almost impossible.

The beauty of Patton's long catch is that defenses will see the film that Florida can get deep and they will have to adjust....unfortunately, they also see the film that JD apparently fumbles every other time he is sacked.

We threw the ball 33 times and ran it 44. I figured some on here would be elated. Minus the turnovers I like that ratio.

Totally agree, said on another thread that both played great. WRs certainly weren't the major problem today.
On the other hand Patton may have lost KR duties.

Dunbar was wide open with not a man insight when Driskel was on the run in the 3rd quarter. Could of been a nice TD

I saw WR's open alot. Driskel won't pull the trigger.

I like Showers too. He needs to see more plays.

Still think he is learning how to see the field, his downfield vision is where he needs to improve the most, holding onto the ball is next(he did well in this area last year), and it would be nice if Pease could get them working on some timing routes, Jeff seems hesitant to hit the open receivers (might be a vision thing).

It's Great to be a Florida Gator!
