I agree about the rapist, and the schedule. but they spanked our asses, then won the national title, follow it up with a top 3 recruiting class, took all the best players in the state again. I don't care who they play, right now they are dominating us in every facet. its a damn shame, but I can't deny it, and neither can you.

That "best rapist" player is there for another year, and who knows, according to FSU insiders for maybe 2 more years. He definitely comes across as one of those types who enjoys the college experience. I could totally see him sticking around longer than we would all like.

And FSU has always had a weak schedule. It never mattered in the grand scheme of things. In fact, next year with the additions of Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, and Louisville, there will be this perception that they have significantly upgraded their schedule. Then what becomes of that excuse?

The Tebow era was the dark ages for the Holes. Now that the roles have reversed, I am just hoping we put up a little more fight and have a little more success powering through it rather than saying "doesn't matter, we are the flagship! we are actually the best!"

you are great at escaping the part where you admit that you were so wrong about the main point of this threat.

hey, when you are right you are right. no one will convince your close minded ignorant self that you will ever be wrong. take a breathe, say a prayer, get informed, get in touch with reality. then you will be all set to go.

Pop quiz. How many of the top 25 players in the state did our flagship school sign? According to rivals, 2 (0 in the top 5). FSU? 8. Miami? 5. Hell, even UGA got more than we.

You don't seem to realize Jameis has THREE more years to play. Flagship don't mean chit to the elite skill players.

Cherry picking rivals stats? We have a consensus top 10 recruiting class after a 4-8 season. But please don't let some good logic get in the way.

You must be under 30, you are making too big a deal about one year.

If you were a Gator fan in the late 80's/early 90's you lived through a stretch where Uf only won ONCE! in 9 tries..

Heck our greatest coach ever Spurrier started out 1-6-1 v FSU, and in that stretch FSU was a perennial #1 recruiter, maybe you have heard of players like Derrick Brooks, Deion Sanders, Charlie Ward, Warrick Dunn….

UF throttled FSU in 2012, and outrecruited FSU in 2012 and 2013, so if you can't handle one year where our rival has a great year you are following the wrong sport b/c these things ebb and flow a little bit.

I am under 30(happy to be) . Yes i grew up watching the good ole days of fun n gun with Spurrier slanging the ball around the field. I am not saying that we will forever lose ground on FSU at all. But for right now the future doesn't look to bright. However, i have said on multiple threads that this class was very impressive, especially coming off this season. I buy my season tickets, spend my money commuting to the games, have loved this since I was a kid and I hate to see what I saw last year. I don't think I am crazy for thinking that we are falling behind FSU when they get 8 out of the top 10 Florida prospects. My initial response was based on the poster that claimed that we can recruit because we are the flagship school of Fl, which I decided to show him that its not quite that simple. I do think that if Roper can get the O improved that it will attract those 5* recruits that we have been missing lately. Guys like Lane and Cook, that left after they realized this offense gives them less of a shot to be successful then most other schools.

UF has not been in the top 100 in offense for the last 3 seasons. That is just ridiculous, hopefully this will change this year, I am optimistic.
