One week you're playing a school that plays in the Football Championship Subdivision, next thing you know, you're traveling down to where the Holy Bible has been edited to say that Jesus Christ plays football and every normal college kid goes to drink their brains out during spring break.

    Florida Gators 2013 Rewind:
Last year was one of the worst seasons Florida has had in a very long time. Going 4-8 overall, the Gators were unable to go bowling for the first time since 1990. But even then, the 1990 Florida team went 9-2, winning their regular season conference championship, but couldn't go bowling due to an NCAA probation. 1979 was the last time Florida had a really bad year. Trust me, I know what a bad season of football looks like. In '79, the Gators went 0-10-1, which isn't exactly the way you'd like to bounce back from a 4-7 season.

Actually pretty well done and includes this

Kindof a funny preview. The guy takes some shots at UF (saying that Muschamp will never win an SEC title and goes on about Albert the Alligator).

I think his prediction is very optimistic: 42-17.

I doubt they score 17 and I think we get well past 42 points (6 tds). I think it's closer to 49-56. Hell, Roper put up nearly 50 on Texas A&M last season.

When's the last time we were even close to that? South Carolina in 2012 when they had 5-6 turnovers? Nah, we'll win, but we'll probably stop playing offense in the second half and just slam the ball up the middle to waste the clock. I think his prediction is optimistic on both scores (ours and theirs). They'll be lucky to score 10 and only if they pull some sort of surprise like Kentucky.

We haven't played a team this weak in a long time. We might score a good deal even just "slamming the ball up the middle", if that's what we choose to do.

Agree that they are not likely to score 17 and maybe not even 10, but they might if we turn the ball over, which was definitely an issue last year.

If I were them, I'd go ahead and test our pass protection and try to force some turn overs. Nothing to lose.

Dude, I know we haven't done shlt in quite a while offensively. The HOPE is that the offense is "fixed". If we can't put up points on this team we're in trouble. Period. Nothing more, nothing less. I follow UF football as closely as you do, I can assure you. I don't need a history lesson of our offense under Muschamp.

Kind of think Muschamp will open up the offense to try and get some excitement. He is going to have to do things like that to get some of the fanbase back on his side.

Fwiw, he's been trying to open it up since the Sugar Bowl. Personnel limitations, injuries and coaching issues with Pease and Davis have conspired against it.

I am hoping that we get plenty of DL and OL rotation and I would not hold back. The heck with the ground and pound. Let the TEs and WRs get some time in. We know we can run but we don't know if we can throw and catch in a real game.

For CWM's sake, I really, really, REALLY hope those days are over. He needs to take a page out of SOS's playbook if he wants to get the fans excited again - and that is "It's the other team's job to stop us; we're just running our offense".

REAAAALLLLLY! UM game last year, relatively injury free, was he "trying to open it up" in the third quarter when we had the ball in or near Miami territory three times and went three and out each time, all on run plays??????
