Today #UF coach Will Muschamp told recruits he wants to have more of an up-tempo, no-huddle offense. #Gators

Not sure how I feel about this. Definitely excited for change, but that seems like we're going to go from one extreme to another. Bet recruits will be happy, though.

I will believe it when I see it.....sounds all good now...but if you flame out with that up tempo plan then what will happen is we will resort back to the predictable run run 3 yard pass offense that we have had for the last 3 years...

There may be a big difference between having an "up-tempo, no-huddle offense" and having "more of an up-tempo, no-huddle offense."

Uh, and if the former flames out, why you not prefer the latter?

You can be up tempo and still run the same plays.

He's selling it to save his face especially his head coach position.

Otherwise, he just needs to prove it to the Gator nation next season.

Auburn does up tempo and beat Alabama throwing ~ ten times.

No hiddle and up tempo doesn't mean not pro.

I personally like the patriots offense. Spread when they have to, no huddle and up tempo when they need it and power run capable when they need to run clock.

If he doesn't produce next year, I don't see how he can survive.

Maybe this is a signal of his being "humbled."

They can run block, have a speedy-power running back, and a 4.4. QB.

We could use all of that.

Is that an admission he wanted to have the slow-tempo we've seen?

And have little of it atm. They have a slew of OL so probably a talented two deep that can just keep coming at you. We're not there yet and probably a couple big OL classes away from being that good. I think the bar is low enough now we'll be happy just improving somewhat and recruiting well.

Whatever he feels needs to be done in order to score points and win games I'm down with.

I welcome it. Until I actually see it, I won't believe it.

I believe in putting pressure on defenses and making them think instead of react.

Yes great news! No huddle spread offenses are Saban's achilles heel....with the talent pool in this state it would be scary assuming we hiring a good OC (which I think we will now that he has established we will have a uptempo no huddle offense).
