We all know and hope there will be some changes come next Saturday. All excuses aside, something has to change, or the pressure will only become greater on the coaches and players.

    My predictions –
    • Moore will move inside and be replaced at the tackle position. Whether it be by Garcia, Koehne or whomever, this will happen. Don’t believe it will be Trenton Brown, may be wrong, but feet too slow.
    • Taylor will start at TB. Love Mack Brown, the kid plays hard and never complains, but the talent of 21 prevents this move from taking any longer. Understand there must be issues that have prevented this earlier, i.e. pass pro, etc, but the kid just glides.
    • Shirts will be pulled on the defensive side, if for no other reason than to give a breather to the thinning defensive line. This will also depend on the relative health of Powell and Jacobs. Gurley will be back I am sure, so the pounding will begin and we need bodies.
    • Coverage on the slot receiver might change as this has caused recent issues, due to injuries and inexperience
    .

As a coach I had years with similar issues and the finger pointing is hard to defend. Locker room can become quickly divided, thus a change offers the possibility of success and renewed support of teammates. Old Abe said “a house divided”.

    Sounds like reasonable predictions Coach.

Another wacky change I'll be hoping for... maybe they'll study UGA blitz packages, as well as the ones that Mizzou and LSU whooped us with, and have a plan for protections.

Good post as this looks like a transcrip from Muschamp press conference , He said that Moore is going to moved to gaurd or sat on the bench that he has to play better, that Ivey and one other DT redshirt are likley to be pulled, that blocking assigments will be simplified so we can play faster

Imo there is no need to pull the rs now. Screams desperation. Can't go to Atlanta, minor pizza bowl for us, assinine to burn rs. Burn shirts to salvage 7-5? No thanks, I'd rather have them for 4 full seasons.

You burn the shirts so they're better for next year. Not so that this year's team is better.

People stress over who starts way way too much.

    - Mack Brown starts but Kelvin gets a lot of carries
    - they move Garcia to tackle (this could be a disaster changing a side is hard to do)
-the question now is who will play LG?
-Shirts come of Bostwick and Ivey which sucks cus I think Ivey is a 4 year player
    - Jarred Davis plays more at LB
    -less Drob

Koehne back at RT. He seems to be our best option there.

A couple of times he gave the DE a 'gravity boost shove' as the DE was doing a fly by to accelerate the DE into Murphy

Yea muschamp said kelvin should have gotten more carries against mizzou which is obvious and that we should have had bostwick and ivey in the rotation at DT, we should now have 4 to five rotating tackles at DT especially against gurly but lucky for us Marshall isn't there for the one two punch

I think an OL from left to right of DJ, Koehne, Harrison, Halapio, Garcia is the best shot we have.

D.J. Needs to move to right tackle. Take the pressure of protecting the blind side off of him and see if the mental mistakes slow down. Some guys mentally cannot handle protecting the blind side. Hell it really can't hurt. Not like the next guy could give up more qb pressures.

Or just put a TE in a tight slot off of DJ's left butt-cheek on that side and block only, unless the D squeezes down and then go out for a check down pass...

I'm hoping to see some dual TE sets where we can actually have numbers to keep the defensive linemen off of Tyler. Put TM in the gun with one back and two receivers set wide. If Georgia puts 8 in the box, let Tyler roll out and throw or run depending on the coverage. Georgia's secondary is very poor this year....maybe we can actually take advantage of somebody else's weakness?

Moore is a better OG than Halapio is. The coaches may not get it, but I do, along with many others.

    Garcia/Harrison/Moore on the inside
Hump/? on the outside. We simply have to help at least one of the tackles in obvious passing situations and slide protection to the other "non" help side.

Because you are at practice every day and at meetings you and others know this?.. Well why didn't you tell the coaches man?
