Assuming Muschamp returns for 2014 with a new offensive staff.

With the rise of Missouri and the addition of Bama, I see a very tough schedule, and barring we hit the jackpot with redshirt freshmen, true freshmen, and a brand new coaching staff, I see 6-6 for us next year.
7-5 would be good and 8-4 would be the best I could even imagine.

Hard to say without seeing the coaching staff shake up. If no one is let go, I doubt this team wins more than 5 games

6-6 with a 1000% vote of confidence from Foley since we improved.

8-4 but he loses the ones that matter - FSU, Georgia, Alabama, and one of South Carolina/LSU.

And he unfortunately gets another year.

As sad as this year was, I'm not sure we even accomplished much in terms of improving for next year. We put in a minimal amount of freshmen, redshirted a large majority of them, did nothing in the way of even attempting to expand our offense's capabilities, appear on the verge of installing a brand new offense for the third time....

This is a team that should win 9 games, with Muschamp they will win 7 the hard way.

Like I said before, Muschamp will be fired after this year or next. It's becoming apparent that it will happen next year.

6-6, if we can beat UT in Knoxville and Vanderbilt in Nashville. Losses to LSU, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, FSU. If the offense stays as is, 4-8 is possible again.

Normally I would think we are a 9-win caliber club because usually that's the floor at Florida, but I don't think so anymore. This roster/depth chart/program is nothing more than a shadow of what it once was a few years ago. It just looks like a .500 type team. 7-5 at best.

But I agree no matter the talent level we will under-achieve that by at least a couple of games.

He will most certainly be fired at some point. It's just a matter of how many years of this we have to put up with before then.

We'll "improve" to 7-5 at best and Muschamp will be allowed to keep his job, further cementing this program into irrelevance for the foreseeable future.

8-4. Lose FSU and Bama. Split LSU and USC, split Mizzou and UT. Beat UGa and Vandy, and all the WM supporters will be talking about what an improvement it is and how it proves WM is a great coach for "bringing the Gators back!" while omitting that 8-4 sucks and Wm is the reason they were down in the first place.

Also offense gets up to the 80s and also called huge improvement. And I'm not joking.

That's the problem. If 4-8 doesn't get your fired nothing does. Worse yet is that going 8-4 next year is a great season and then start it all over again in 2015. It's a never-ending cycle. What is the end game? By 2015 we MUST win the SEC?? What if we're one game shy? Keep going? Until when?

    What a mess.

If Muschamp comes back with his new "pumped up staff" 7-5 or 6-6
They bring in a head coach and an offensive coordinator.......I would say potentially 9-3 or 8-4.

A new (good) head coach could go as high as 10,11, or 12 wins, and probably 6 or 7 wins at worst.

WM could only go as high as 8 and probably 5 at worst IMO.

I think 10+ games with a Petrino, Franklin, maybe even Mike Leach type. 7 games with Muschamp and I'm being generous. His game plans are horrible and his in game adjustments are non existent.

I think 8-4 would be the best possible that we could do. I feel sorry for some of these kids having to learn a third system in 4 years. There almost has to be some learning curve for the players unless someone on staff is promoted and they are just going to tweak what they already have.

I've been through this before, but whatever:

    Idaho (Win, 99%)
    Eastern Michigan (Win, 97%)
    Kentucky (Win, 95%)
    @ Alabama (Loss, 20%)
    @ Tennessee (Win, 65%)
    LSU (Win, 55%)
    Missouri (Win, 60%)
    Georgia (Win, 55%)
    @ Vanderbilt (Win, 65%)
    South Carolina (Win, 70%)
    Eastern Kentucky (Win, 99%)
    @FSU (Loss, 25%)

Keep in mind, Alabama, LSU, Missouri, Georgia, and South Carolina all lose a lot more than we do. None of those schools have their starting QB's coming back. That adds up to about 8.5 wins. I think it will probably be good enough to win the East, which would be a great start in building our program back up.
