At least it wasn't CP who turned his ankle. Not that having Casey Hill sidelined for probably several weeks is any better especially with Wilbekin still suspended.

Our starting PG out on suspension and our backup goes down with an ankle injury. Just crappy luck

I am just hoping it isn't broken. Even a high ankle spring would be okay. Hopefully Wilbekin gets back by FSU, which would keep us plenty competitive in that tough stretch of FSU, UConn, Kansas, and Memphis. Between exams and winter break, Hill wouldn't miss that many games even if it is a 6+ week recover.

I saw the thread title and immediately thought Hill had a broken ankle. Not cool.

Every one needs to lighten up. 'Breaking ankles' means something non-medical to people that play the game. It isn't literal and it is a good thing unless you are on D.

White Chocolate comes to mind when "breaking ankles" is mentioned.

Speaking of Casey, he had a great second half tonight. One of his and-ones occurred off the dribble, into a double team, where he elevated above the defenders and sank a 10 footer. Can you name a player since Vernon Maxwell who has the kind of "ups" that Prather does? I'm sure there have been a couple, but I can't think of many. Now that he's a senior, his game has developed to the point that he's able to apply that freakish athleticism and create his own shot. But that's only a related matter. So . . . who has had better "ups" than Casey?

My bad. Euphoria and all. And while Corey (Brewer) had amazing length and could create his own shot, I don't think Corey had the kind of dynamic ups that Casey does.
