The word brilliant doesn't belong in the same sentence as the words Reid, Pelosi and Obama!

Of all the people who voted how many could really tell you what this means?

What was brilliant on the Democrats was planning to have the start of sign up for Obamacare and the government shut down on the same day. By then closing memorials, highways, parks and other high profile government locations it took the attention of the MSM away from the first day cluster of the Obamacare signup and put it on the closing of the WWII memorial.

The Neo-Bolsheviks are being boneheaded and stubborn. They now think that moving the goalposts on the debt (by calling for the sequester to be removed on top of more spending) they think they'll get even more bargaining power...

    Stupid commies.

Personally, I think the Dems are masterful politicians...and don't care one bit about their supposed constituents other than getting them to the polls to vote them back in. And their tactics are all about that.

We've got bigger fish to fry. The ACA is a boondoggle that needs no such immediate focus, because it's such a crappy law to begin with that it will collapse under it's own weight... even if the media completely ignores it.

In other words why would we try and defund Obama-scam/tax that is already law when we can defund Obama and all his spending? Spending that Obama needs so that he can gain another victory for his ilk, the Neo-Bulsheviks, in 2014.

however, the attention the boondoggle the aca start up would have caused would have helped bring more attention to the failures of this regime

Money is power! And he needs it to propagate is lies... because people forget... even he will be forgotten without constant flow of cash he uses for advertisements/freebies.

Stop the cash and we stop the freebies Obama's supporters lives by... including all of the regulations in the ACA.

Brilliant in hind site because the roll out has been so disastrous. But then again, who would report on it. Certainly not the state run media.

Do we have a headcount on how many journalists have been employed by this administration. I lost count at 24.

They are brilliant at creating dependency on the Government thus controlling the moocher class-which may now be the biggest voting block of them all. I want my ebt.

Not sure how many they are actually paying but thousands of publicists (claiming to be journalists) are "invested" in getting this clown elected, reelected, propped up, properly watered etc. Everything is covered up and of course the AG-Holder is protecting his flank. Nixon looks like a boy scout compared to President Goofball.

    Harry Reid is simply brilliant:
This is what we can expect from the statists. They come in many persuasions, but dems think government as a religion, and above the people who they are supposed to represent.

The Dem politicians are stupid. But when compared to the Republicans they are genius. That is what is confusing the OP.

The thing that most all of you arguing about who is right and who is wrong are missing the bigger picture of what is currently happening. There was a bi-partisan poll taken last week by both Democrats and Republicans and sponsored by NBC/WSJ that is far more telling of the current state of affairs concerning Congress.

For the first time in the history of this country a majority of both parties voters are now at the point that they want all of the current Congressmen thrown out of office. The following is a quote from the article.

I know this report will be attacked because it was sponsored by NBC but they did use members of both parties to do the poll.

    The article is here.
