on a side note, the Kremlin has been looking for mechanical typewriters to close security problems with sensitive communications

Why not just disable the cpu's ability to connect to the internet and use a printer? Wouldn't that be basically the same thing? I work paperless, there is no way I'd want to have to keep track of papers.

    Lol...

Chung dump dung got caught holding Cuba's missiles and tried to kill himself - and the Kremlin goes old school to avoid being spied on by Obama. Too freaking funny.

Sounds like free sugar for Panamanians, and free target practice for the U.S. Navy.

Take the vessel out in the Pacific and sink it 4-5 miles deep with the weapons on board, and tell Cuba they can go get it if they want it.

were they cuban missiles from Russia or did NK send some parts through and they had been staged aboard multiple vessels in the gulf/atlantic where they could have been assembled? Seems like NK would be using Chinese technology.

Did this one cost Putin? If they were Russian missisles being exported he had a piece of it somehow. Was this payback for not giving up Snowden and why they are buying typewriters?

The typewriter thing is truly bizarre. I'm sure Russia will find out soon enough that it is virtually impossible to keep track of information in this day and age on paper, and even harder to access information that you need in a hurry. It would seem that the answer is to have an isolated network of computers that has no exposure to the outside world, and no capability for portable data storage (USB connections, etc.). You would have to figure out what to do about transmitting data between locations, since you can't secure the communications between sites very well. Whatever you came up with, it would be better than making copies and hand-delivering them to other locations.

Thats what I was thinking. I've worked a project where the IT guys completely disabled the USB ports and everything else on the lap tops we were using for security.

maybe this helps explain why China wants their own canal in Nicaragua too.

report this am indicated they have found MIG parts also. Still have only searched one of five cargo holds. You know this cost Putin and/or one of his closest friends some major $$$.

Seems to be a lot of outdated stuff but we will have to wait and see what they have.

But, but, but... Obama laughed at Romney during a debate saying the Russia is our friend and that Romney was living in the past when talking about Russia and their bad intentions.

The missile components were for the Soviet ere SA-2 system. A little about the system
If the SA-2 missiles were cars they would look like this.

Do those missiles kill people the same way as the newer more advanced ones?
