Mizzou hasn't had our success in terms of recruiting. How is it there o line can block, there backup qb can play loose and there d line was in our backfield all night. Is it the coaching or have the players given up on this freak season ?

Did you really think we would win today? Missouri has been averaging 38 points a game. When was the last time we scored that many points on offense? It's getting hard to remember.

Their line is full of 2-3 star recruits and they have a backup freshmen as QB. What's our excuse again?

Injuries are a factor. You can't deny that. However, at a school like UF, these injuries should be making a stellar offense just average. Instead they are making a bad offense horrible. So, yes, they matter, but it's not as if the offense lit it up when fully healthy.

Mauk was a four star recruit.

But I thought it was funny that their Oline badly outplayed ours and one of their linemen is a former walk-on who was playing with a high ankle sprain. To be fair, our O-line didn't get to play against a D-line missing 75% of their starters. I think the game would have been much different of Easley, Powell and Jacobs had played...

Maul set the HS record for passing yardage. He threw for nearly 300 yards against our D in his first start.

This is why Gator fans voice their displeasure when we don't win in convincing fashion over early-season opponents. We're not spoiled. We just know that yards and points are harder to come by as the schedule gets tougher, and if we don't blow out patsies, who CAN we blow out?

The difference today was at the line of scrimmage! Mizzou totally dominated on both sides of the ball!
