Cannot seem to keep up with all of the developments with injured/eligibility status/suspended players this off-season. Can someone help by listing the players that will not be available to start the season, the reason, and the game or date that they are expected back?

    Thanks

You pretty much have a better chance of winning the lottery than sorting this out. To the best of my knowledge, this is what things look like right now:

Ineligible: Walker (at least until the end of the fall semester)
Injured: Carter (fully cleared for practice, but not back in shape yet); Yeguete (limited practice, but should be ready to go for the first game); Graham (ankle, day-to-day); Finney-Smith (ankle, day-to-day); Harris and Prather both are full-go
Suspended: Wilbekin (rumor is six games, or through November); Prather, Finney-Smith, Harris (three games, but no certainty if that includes exhibition or when they will even take the suspensions)

this comment by billy d doesn't help...

Junior center Damontre Harris also is back at practice after sitting out a week with a hamstring injury. When asked to assess Harris, Donovan said: “Really out of shape. He's got a long way to go. Cardiovascularly, that's got to be an issue for him. He's got to work through the conditioning piece of it because he's really not anywhere where he needs to be at all cardiovascularly.”

This is, as Gator90 notes, a rather fascinating year.

We know that the Gator football team (like Georgia), has been beset with injury after injury this year. After conducting an analysis (not including walk-ons), in a comparison with the Basketball Teams injuries and suspensions a week ago, and, of course comparing a 13-man roster with an 85-man roster, although neither team is at the full roster, the football team would have had to have 39 players either suspended or hurt to match the basketball team.

    WOW!!!

    Thanks rserina.

Guess we can add Frazier to that list, unfortunately. I'm guessing we'll get all of them back, little by little, by the time of Walker's inclusion in mid-Decmber. It's going to look like a "flash mob".......we'll start the season with three (of the eventual eleven or tweleve guys in the rotation) plus walk-ons, then move to four, then seven, then eight, then nine, then ten, etc. We just might be pretty good by season's end.
