Wow did I just see that? I thought one of the players dropped their pink towel or armband but nope the ref tossed a pink penalty flag for holding!

Get ready, people want the QBs to wear pink helmets for a game next season.

I fail to understand why people are so hung up on colors. It's a great cause and the players seem to embrace it. Lighten up a little. Maybe the money/awareness raised will save one of your loved ones some day.

Pink penalty flags cross some line that I am not prepared to define ...

Since they're trying to emasculate the game and turn it into two-hand touch, they should keep the pink flags permanently.

I get your point, but its pretty much a straw man argument that suggests awareness or saving of loved ones couldn't be achieved in other ways including having socks be pink but not penalty flags or it suggests that people who are against the pink movement in football are against saving people from breast cancer.

Socks come in many colors ... penalty flags are yellow and I was under the impression yellow towels are not allowed on the field of play because penalty flags are yellow.

Pink socks with orange shoes is a fashion travesty.

Of course UT's orange socks at the bottom of grey pants reminded me of chicken feet every time I looked at them

Was one straw man argument in this thread not enough? Apparently not ...

Complaining about pink penalty flags is not complaining about a good cause.

Watching Seattle vs Indy on Fox ... FWIW, John Lynch and the play by play guy have commented numerous times about the pink flags causing confusion especially with the occasional pink towel on the ground. They did a brief mention of the NFL awareness program and even then said to keep all the other pink stuff but get rid of the pink flags.

Yea this is what I was saying what the fox commentators apparently did. I'm all for breasts and curing the harmed ones. But keep the damn penalty flags yellow!
