Not if you're a Broncos fan.
I'm still on the fence about this game. Half of me wants to see Peyton win and the other half wants to see Quinn win.
Either way, I've a feeling its gonna be a HELL of a game!
Great for Percy! Go Gators!
As for the game--offenses win games (and sell tickets); defenses win championships.
Still holds true.
It's how the SEC won 7 c'ships in a row, and only broke streak when our 9th ranked D. snuck past Bama on a miracle play....
...and (back to the NFL), of course there's the Steel Curtain legacy, the Doomsday D, the no-name D (STILL the only perfect season ever), the '85 Bears, Steel Curtain II (x2), the 2000 Ravens (and '13), and the greatest, fastest, most dominant, hardest hitting defense ever (in my entirely unbiased opinion), the legendary '02 Bucs!
Best D > Best O; Seahawks > Broncos.
I'll never understand how a Gator fan can like a Manning. It just seems wrong.
Percy might get a SB ring...sweet! Hope he makes a huge play in the game!
You're just touchy since you're a Seahawks fan.
true but i would cheer for him like crazy if he ever played fsu
The NFL is not my game, but it has been a nice consolation this year. I definitely want the Seahawks to win, but at best I'm a bandwagon fan. I want the Seahawks to win because I live in Seattle, but I don't want Manning to lose because he's playing the Seahawks, I want him (and his brother) to lose, because I'm a Gator.
If a Manning ever plays for UF it's going to be difficult for me...
In fact, I seem to recall doing just that, at the end of the '98 season (around Jan. '99), if recollection serves.
I agree with 92 on the defense being the difference in this game.
Unless the officials call PI and defensive holding unusually tightly for a big game, I expect the Seahawks to make things very tough for the Broncos offense, and Peyton to get knocked down more than usual.
