Well it fits their makeup of the recent past (two QBs). Buffalo next?

The good news is...we Phins fans can completely hate the Patriots and Jets again.

I'm not sure there will be another stop for Tim. In the NFL, that is.

There is no next. Josh McDaniels was his best shot.

    on to the next phase.

He would not succeed in arena or Canadian league.

This year probably. But it seems like there have been plenty of older QBs that try and make the roster every year. Vince Young keeps bouncing around despite getting cut I think.

I'd like the Phins to pick up Nelson...they could get him on the cheap and roll the dice that his knee is repaired. He was having a great start to his career with the Bills...tough luck with the ACL.

Sucks for Tim...but he's got bigger things coming other than football.

Sad to think his football playing days may be over. But he still has millions of dollars, his health, and will be highly sought after on the banquet circuit. Hes not gonna suffer.

Vince Young is a good example. The problem with Tim is that he brings an unusual amount of media scrutiny/buzz that many teams won't want to take on for a 2nd/3rd stringer. I think his chances of sticking around in the league would actually improve if the media exposure came down a few notches.

Another Game Day member? His NFL days are over. A qb cannot afford not to play for this long and be successful when he has the issues he has.

The media exposure will never go down since he made the pro-life SuperBowl Commercial just before the draft.

They brought him in to bring positive attention to their program after the Hernandez debacle. They were never going to keep 2 QBs and they like Mallett as the backup. He did not do well but he also didn't have a chance to make the team as a QB, IMO.
