Well, apparently GC won't let an Only Gators link....but it has some videos
His outside shot looked good. His hand size has been questioned, but they're an inch longer than mine & I can palm a basketball so I don't see how that should be an issue.
What is the deal with GC not letting us link to OGGOA? They are a free website that operates off of donations. There is no subscription service. They periodically ask for donations to continue providing their coverage for free, and their coverage is damn good. I don't understand why the OGGOA links are being pulled, especially when it doesn't appear that GC has any of their own coverage about Pat's combine performances...

LOL. If they did reps at 225 like in the NFL combine, the results column would read like binary code (0,0,0,1,0,1,0,1,1,0,0,1,0). They'd have to use 135 instead.
He made a very good % of 3's.
They used to do 185 lbs. I'm not sure if they still do, I just recall it being a huge "?" On durant when he couldn't get it up once. Wouldn't shock me if they got rid of it since then though.

I wouldn't have thought he could hit 28%. I think very good in this case is a relative thing
The NBA Average is usually in the low 30' to mid-30's %. How is 28% on NBA range 3's for a 6'9 big man who never shot outside of 12 feet in college not an impressive mark? I'm shocked he even made one.
That's the NBA average in a game! These numbers are for shooting uncontested and standing still. I would guess that the spot-up, uncontested average for all NBA players would be closer to 50-60% from 3. Just take a look at the Combine results. Pat had the lowest 3pt % of all the attendees and was one of only 2 to hit less than 33%. That being said, it doesn't matter b/c he will most likely take 0 shots from that distance his entire career and I seriously doubt any teams will look at it as a bad thing, as his mid-range numbers were pretty strong. Overall it seems like he had a solid showing. I was just pointing out that, big man or not, 28% is not a good % in that format.
I don't see Young throwing up a lot of 3's anyway. That's not his mojo.
