Patric just got an easy slam dunk and is looking good to start this Summer League game.
    Ironically, he guarding Randle too.

Also playing for the Lakers is Georgia's Trey Thompkins.
He just hit a trey to end the first period....
and appears to be their best player so far.

    At the half:
    Pelicans 51
    Lakers 36

Looks like at least 3 SEC players on this Lakers roster:
    Jordan Clarkson (Mizzou)
    Julius Randle (Kentucky)
    Trey Thompkins (Georgia)

NC State's Courtney Fells is lighting it up for New Orleans.

It's amazing how Patric Young keeps getting around 10 points and 6 rebounds. I guess those numbers do translate to the NBA!

NC State's Courtney Fells was the star of the entire game for New Orleans.
But the SEC was well-represented by the above players with 54 total points.
Very proud of Patric all the way around...and the announcers were talking
about his freakish body all game long.
