Just watching the NC ST/BC game (since this is the worst morning of college football I can remember) and Matt Patchan clears the way for a BC rushing TD.

Good for him - glad he's healthy and found a spot --- but the irony huh?

Was he really hurt here, or just an excuse for something else. I find it odd he can stay healthy at BC
    Good for him

Turns out, he was grossly undervalued at UF for absorbing 90% of team injuries.

We could sure use him this year at OT. I can't believe he transferred for 1 year to play at BC when our OL is suffering so much this season.

"It’s rare when a first-year college football coach has an NFL-caliber left tackle with a Southeastern Conference pedigree just fall out of the sky and land in his lap.

But that’s precisely what Boston College coach Steve Addazio has in Matt Patchan, whom Addazio initially recruited to the University of Florida in 2008. Patchan decided to transfer to BC to play for his old position coach after graduating over the winter from Florida, where Patchan played with Tim Tebow and, yes, Aaron Hernandez."

That pic was taken over 3 months ago. He's playing now.

Man, Vitamin Adazzio and his fumbled snap offense was unfortunately more potent than our current one.

I'm glad for his sake he's gone. He never would have escaped injury here in a year like we've had.

I heard he was bitter about his departure from UF. Maybe not on our coaching staff, but definitely with our medical staff. He could have come back for a 6th year, but didn't obviously. I thought he had given up football completely.

Glad to see the young man on the field of play instead of the training room table. He would have been a starter every year if he could have escaped bullets and injuries.

At the post game press conference, Addazio mentioned that he graded out as . . . oh never mind!

Would have been nice to have an extra body on the line with all these injuries.
