    This is an excellent article on how the Christian right loves to attack people with facts if those facts go against what they believe. Of course eating their own has become more and more commonplace in the Pub Party now that the Christian right has hooked up with the rest of the TPers.

    Bill, I'm not taking up for what he posted and haven't even read it. However there is more totalk about on TH than the ACA or Obama for that matter. I don't think anyone could look at the board and think he and it are not well covered.

    there is comfort and a sense of being a member associated with being part of a flock that moves in lock step though. independent thought and responsibility is hard work. some are herd animals, some are mustangs. US used to be mustangs but has been transformed and "domesticated" into being herd animals

    I fail to see the Christian bashing in the opening post. The article is about two different takes on the age of the world by ultra right winged Christians. And the fact that they are technically going after one of the most hardline and unfortunately influential mouthpieces they have.

    When I clicked on this thread I thought it was going to be about him having cancer or something. You seriously think a war of words is a "real b****" for a public figure? If so, then I hope for your sake that you never come under criticism in the news media.

    Make no mistake, I'm not a Robertson fan. In fact, I take issue with the claims that he's one of the more influential voices on the "hard right". If it looks that way it's only because he's saying things a lot of people already agreed with. There's a reason he sold the Family channel and had to contractually stipulate that they couldn't cancel his show.

    yeah the Christian Right is killing our economy, causing our healthcare costs to skyrocket, and creating a unsustainable deficit, but do continue.
