^^^so far it looks like the best thing that could have happened to the GOP, was the dummy-rats insistence on letting the Obarrycare mandate begin on schedule, as the exchanges are proving to be a colossal disaster.

    Everyone's rates are going up.

Had they tabled the damn thing for just one more year, they coulda' had the public fooled with their lies about how rates would go down, blah blah blah.

    Yay Barry!

So the Dems should acquiesce to the repugs wanting one more shot at blocking ACA?

Yeah, that makes the kind of sense that doesn't.

...the dummy-rats best hope the stank don't stick...

They best hope they can keep the blame for the *shutdown* on the GOP...

...and they need the pain of the *shutdown* to be greater than the pain of Obarrycare and the global increase in coverage rates (coinciding with the decrease in actual coverage)--plus the fallout (i.e.--cut back in hours and full time employment...)...

...or their day of reckoning may arrive sooner than expected.

Nah. Let Obarrycare expose its own ill-fated design flaws to the chagrin of the deaf dumb and blind sap-suckers who swallered Barry's horse manure hook line and sinker, for the last 5 years.

All the GOP needs to do is show that they were against this POS, and fought like hell to prevent it.

Note: 'show' emphasized--this is mere drama, for show--because it was all smoke and mirrors showmanship that ushered in this fleecing of Am. healthcare--and all that needs to be done, is to show it up for the crap that it is--and to make it perfectly clear who wanted to do the fleecing, and who sought to avoid it.

    btw--who are y'all kiddn'?

Boner is going to fold like a cheap tent, and fund this POS.

What matters though, is that as Obarrycare takes hold, and the public gets a bitter mouthful of this crap, the public will remember who cooked up the bitter dish...and who told them:

    "...don't drink that sh*t....it's f'n poison".

    River:

    1. I don't need to post on a message board to 'feel grown up';

    2. Amidst the stinging style of my posts, is an even gaver stinging truth.

    e.g.:

Hurt your retina? Maybe. Sting a wee? Perhaps.

    But truth to the core.

If the govm't 'shutdown' hurts more than Obarrycare==good for dems, bad for GOP.

THAT IS WHY THEY [the 'rats] ARE ATTEMPTING TO RACHET UP THE PAIN OF THE SHUTDOWN.

Conversely, if Obarrycare is more 'painful' than the [really not that big a deal, temporary, limited] government shutdown, that favors GOP....

...and if Obarrycare is a colossal disaster--as it apppears to be--it is a colossal disaster for the dummy-rats, party wide.

    Insightful. Entertaining. Truthful.

    =Quality posting.

    ;)

I heard on one of last week's Sunday morning talk show Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu say that Israel never has problem agreeing on a budget . This is because they made a law that says, in so many words, that if their legislative body can't come to an agreement then for six months every month there will be an automatic adjustment on what is required. After that six month, if they still can't come to an agreement, new elections are held. He said because of this law they always come to an agreement.

This would be a great policy to adopt here. But guess who has to adopt and pass it?

The same folks who didn't pass a budget at all, for 4 years.

You are spreading lies and ignoring truths. It clearly shows only the visitor both was closed. The actual monuments were open for the public to still view.

It is well documented at this point. Stop the lies.

My thoughts exactly. I held back from posting--figured surf'n80 else would pounce. Think he went rather easy on him.

I have voted for Buchanan for President in the primaries... Don't always agree with anyone, including those I like better than others.
